Yeah… Grinding the F-104, F-84G, IL-28, F-86, G.91 and the MiG-17’s are just soooo boring… Like, over and over again. That’s why i’m stuck at italy air, because i really, really don’t want to play them again.
Thats never been a barrier for any other Nightfighters in game. Functionally they are different. More radar armed ww2 vehicles have been asked for too.
Many of the types you have asked for previously have also been variants of exisitng types. Lets please not pretend you never have before.

i know, Ki-98 mansyu is the one with the guns in the nose. I always confuse these two, imma fix it.
That wasn’t in question. You can find examples from all nations. Japan is not unique there.
We continue to still add unique WW2 vehicles over each year across multiple nations.
I don’t know why, but i always mix these two up.

In exactly 40 days, we’ll be celebrating five years without a single Japanese plane in the WW2 Tech Tree. The same goes for tanks, except for the JSDF vehicles (M16 and M36). So many additions in the last five years.

I just hate how it looks, like the whole geometry of it seems off.
The thin parts of the fuselage, the huge rectangular inlets and the distance between the engines really bother me.
As for the gameplay, it’s a pretty annoying plane, doesn’t matter if it is in my team or the enemies team.
(I never watched Top Gun either)

During the same period of time, we have also expanded the Japanese tree with some of the most requested vehicles for the nation in both ground and air, new SAMs, the F-2s and greatly expanded its avalable CAS and higher tier options with its sub trees. Which were among the top community requests for Japan.
WW2 vehicles for Japan have also still featured throughout events and battlepasses during this period too.
Could you please let me know roughly when the changes to the combat ratings will be updated?
However, players like me, who don’t have time for events and battle passes, got nothing. Furthermore, some people don’t like top-tier gaming (again, me for example). I really don’t understand the fascination with top-tier Gajin. As a fan of the low-tier genre, it makes me feel like an unwanted guest at a party. No one will tell you outright that you’re not wanted here, but everyone emphasizes that this is a party for modern things. Seriously, no game developer should do things that make players feel unwanted.

How are submarines coming along? I’m curious whether multiple nations already have models in development, or if we should expect something more limited at first—similar to how Germany, America and Russia kicked things off when tanks entered CBT.
Is there any chance we might see submarines this year, or at least hear something about their progress? I’m mainly hoping to understand whether they’re actively being worked on. War Thunder Mobile seems to be getting some Naval attention lately (I know it’s a separate game), but both titles share assets to some extent, don’t they?
A little hope and insight would be greatly appreciated.
