They could at least use mobile WT for that, like with daily rewards.
How many vehicles of rank 8 do I need to have to research rank 9 of UK air? If I only have the 1st, 4th and 5th lines researched, do I need to go back and start a completely new line? Why did the two tornados go down to rank 7? Does this mean I just can’t get the typhoon until I go back?
Because, uhhh…
yeah…
I don’t know either
My guess to make room for some more Indian stuff that’s my take
Except if everyone has Meteor like how everyone currently has aim-120c, then nothing changes and you’re still unable to bvr because they’d launch the meteor before you since they’d be able to get to a higher speed quicker than you. I think that’s where you’re not making the connection here.
Could use some more votes please 🙏
when VTAS and AIM-95?
The new proposed Rank 9 in the Planned BR thread = Aircraft that will be eligible for next-gen IR/radar missiles?
Would be cool to see the AIM-95. It’s always nice to see failed/abandoned weapon projects in WT!
I’d be able to because the Meteor manages its speed and it maintains its thrust almost the entire Flight.
I don’t think the non-AESA Eurofighters and the Su-30SM/MKM are going to get next gen missiles when those get added
The Rafale might end up getting next gen missiles and Gaijin could add an older Rafale to fill the BR gap that would be created, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they add a seperate F3 with those missiles
Knowing Gaijin, the current Gripen E definitely isn’t getting next gen missiles and Sweden is gonna get yet another screwed up Gripen
The F-15C GE is the only one that I would say is pretty much guaranteed to be getting next gen missiles
If anything it’ll be even worse for Gripen E since ramjet motors work better when launched at higher speeds than conventional motors, so it would really benefit from stronger platforms.
What of the J-10C and Super Hornet?
I’m a bit split about those, the F/A-18E wouldn’t create a critical gap if it moved up, but Gaijin just loves adding additional seperate vehicles for the heck of it
The J-10C would leave a gap though, but that could be filled by the J-10CE and/or some later Chinese Flanker. The reason I am not sure about that one is that I don’t know if there are sub-variants or upgrade stages that would make sense as seperate variants.
The other planes all have plenty of major variants or upgrade stages that can easily be used to create seperate variants with more (or less) advanced weapons
This question would be more relevant to the future instead of BR changes so I would put it here, why are the fighter flankers, not intended for interdiction or CAS, be put below the bombers? After all, this year is probably going to see the addition of J-16 which are fighter bombers
Edit: accidentally clicked send
Ideally there should be five branches from now on, with indegnious light fighters(J-7II/E, J-10A+C plus future J-10 variants), heavy fighters(J-8B/F, J-11/A/B and future J-11D, J-20 etc), CAS(Q-5/A/L, JH-7/A and future JH-7A2 upgrades), bombers+fighter bombers(H-5 plus future H-6 variants, J-16 variants etc), and then lastly a TW+PK+other subtrees
Because there’s a difference between a random who played 100 battles a month ago and comes to cry here, and a vet with 40k battles who just can’t play for a bit.
American education system strikes again!!!
That reminds me of this thing
historical contexts?
I try to support any F-14D topic out there but Gaijin is planning to group two F-18s into one (while ignoring the 1.7 BR difference between them) instead of moving them to the fourth line.
Therefore they are shadow blocking the vehicle from the game.
