Agreed
35 000kg is the maximum curb weight for the CV 90 MK 3 chassis, hence why BAE lists it. (The BAE brochure also doesnt list technical specifications like the ALVIS HÄGGLUNDS one but instead “prinicipal characteristics” which are very much not the same)
The AMAP-ADS APS alone weighs 500kg, which already makes 35t impossible as the version revceiving it is also listed by Bae at max 35t.
PLSS (the sight) weighs 160 kg, which is less than the RC weapon station aswell.
Ref.:
The brochure from 2006 does not even show our exact ingame-configuration (see: skirts).
I’ll make a bug-report on it again, explaining this in further detail at some point as I now also have access to primary sources from RUAG.
Wait until you find out what soldiers did and do in real wars…
Evidence would’ve appeared in all 5 major updates in 2025 if it was going to impact vehicles being added.
Actually gaijin must paying good for saying that, but but there are exact dates on the sources, also if you use 2 or more braincells you know that the weight increase is complete BS and im not insulting anyone just asking the devs to be more flexible, and to not fully rely on paper and be bit more thoughtful
@Smin1080p_WT may I ask, why is the BMPT/-72 classed as an Tank Destroyer?
Like, it has the same Weapon systems like the BMP-2M, just more guns… shouldn’t that make the BMP-2M/Puma VJTF/KF41 and so on also make them as an Tank destroyer by that logic?
F-22, F-35, Su-47, J-35, and other things.
It’s a TD so it doesnt get scouting-UAV and scouting ability (which in term also means it doesnt get CAS-SP reduction).
iirc BVVD did state this in the dev stream.
Imagine if it got light tank bonuses when it released…
Horrific thoughts.
It’s not the first TD in-game with ATGMs and an autocannon either.
It’s just the first with that amount of armor…
Several of them are yes due to the holidays.

Smin, do you know if this tank will ever arrive or not, or is it a lie that Gaijin said? Anyway, Gaijin only wants money. Thank you for reading my message. A salty player
Su-47 passed but not Su-57? Rather odd picking the plane that didn’t even have a radar over the actual 5th gen
Hey @Smin1080p_WT, any plans you can share right now regarding the Malaysian Ground Subtree? Last month’s update added Malaysian aircraft, but what about tanks? Malaysia uses the PT-91M, a unique T-72 derivative not yet in WarThunder. Since Poland shows no signs of appearing anytime soon, I think this would be a great addition.
These are light tanks which also provide scouting. We don’t have any current plans to change them to TDs.
The BMPT is also not a light tank.
Future and upcoming plans for vehicles are generally shared in the CM disclosure news. So we are a little way off going into detail about what things are planned for the first update (let alone 2026 as a whole).
are there any plans to give them ammo boxes? the spikes are some of the least reliable weapons Ive used in game and would gladly forfeit scouting to get a total of 8
Air RB peak rewards are much higher than ground RB in terms of RP at least.
And I never said it is, its just wierd because it seems the BMPT/-72 are benefitting from some stuff which should not be the case like
The “External” Belt case, also in an Case of ammo Blowout, (which should be fatal anyway) they keep there ammo unlike every other tank in the game…
They get Arty even tho are TDs…
They get ammo box, because TD while tanks with an similar ammo amount dont get an ammo box, because there they are classed as IFV…
not to mention the whole “external” ammo belts yet ACTUAL external ammo belts on things like the fricia hotfist die from ammo racks
@Smin1080p_WT seeing as the Su-47 Berkut got passed to the devs, does this mean we can make a Real Suggestion for the EAP which than also might get passed (there is currently an Suggestion but its an April Joke version) but its still much closer to being able to use Weapons than the Berkut
Or did the Devs dropped the Idea of Hardpoint having to be Wired for Weapons again?
You see there is sekrit documents that actually say the Su47 was very close to entering mass production and could carry every weapon russia made frfr trust
