What if it became a capture point only repair, sort of like how crew replenishment works
Thats pretty funny
I wonder… what can we expect of Arjun? Is there any information available about its armor?
that while funny would also be very dumb
if its the mk1 its gonna have terrible armour (there isnt any composite armour behind the gunners sights so its and easy kill) it also lacks blow out panels so any shot to the turret ammo is also an easy kill
It’s nothing too crazy, a little less than Leopard 2A4 levels until you get to the Arjun Mk. 1A
Edit: On top of @Smugspite said
Don’t forget the “Su-57 RCRS Leak”, which was a patent document freely available for anyone to download off the Russian Patent Office’s website.
…so Mk.1A would be 10.7-level?
Well, U.K does have something of a lineup there, so it may be interesting
Mk. 1A would be 11.3-12.0 since its ERA is a little better than K-5 but still suffers from lack of blowout panels and has the Gunner sight weak spot. Rounds are little weaker, hard to BR it.
Arjun has blow out panels.
That’s right, it does and I forgot, and I’m the one who made the suggestion lol
Makes a great support vehicle, have your friends hide behind you hull down
Reminded of the “Chinese” Oplot ~ one only trialed by Pakistan
But before the Oplot, there was also:
The Abrams.
They trialed the M1A1 as well in 1988 :
but wasn’t inducted due to superstition?
Anyways, jus’ sayin’ Gaijin can still do something funny … (double the Chinese 'brams supply)
I think 12.0 would be a stretch. Honestly 11.3 feels fine if it’s true about the blowout panels and ERA.
That BR would place it alongside the IPM1, T 80 U and Merkava Mk.3s which feels like a fair matchup.
First the Abbot, then the AS90, then the Braveheart
… maybe the Krab later as well?
This is 100% Takao class. Not a single superstructure is similar to other Japanese cruisers.
Finally, after many years, I’ll get to see my favorite class of heavy cruisers.
Spoiler

from what ive heard its still not known if the MK1A does, while the Mk1 doesnt
