I have a solution.
Thailand can get a VT-4 when Chinese tanks get their spall liners, and a better reload.

Because Thailand is a much better fit than SK and SK still has potential for the United Korea tree.
Personally I want to see it in the Thai techtree

Fair, that’d even benefit both because it would make the VT-4 better. Not sure why the reload changes were removed from the dev server anyways, it was almost fixed this update.
Guys talking about VT4 or flags is not for this topic so please go to the correct topics!

Any update on chinese autoloader’s and spall liner. There is been 2 y since “bug” has been accepted and they still don’t have it. Community Bug Reporting System
there were no reload changes on the dev server
those changes were only in the leak list, never on the dev server
so what now that this topic is off the table
I suggest Force-ESA talk
and a Discussion about next gen Missiles, IIR and Long range ARH
IMO the IR missiles we currently have are what’s mainly holding the Current meta back, ARH are now Well established so it’s time for another Technology push in WVR combat
I suggest we start with introducing Lower range IIR Missiles like IRIS-T and AIM-9X before going to stuff like MICA EM and ASRAAM
imo the time is more rhan ripe for this change
additionally I believe a Broad introduction of ECM in Jets would really go well with that
Huh, maybe I misremembered then.
I hope this means they might be considered some other time, maybe even next update.
I think it would be a better idea to flesh out the current implementation of ARH missiles, rework multipathing so it’s on a per missile basis, and decompress some more rather than adding IIR… Also make 10v10 the max playercount above 13.0 because IIR will be cancerous with 32 players.
ARH missiles across the board are under performing, and they deserve to be modelled accurately before they are replaced in the meta. There are also numerous IR missiles that are underperforming, such as the AAM-3, Pl-8B, PL-5E2, and Aim-9M. The BRs are also too decompressed to fully support the addition of new missiles without severely harming anything that can face them. J-10A vs Rafale is doable, but a J-10A vs a Typhoon with IRIS-T isn’t.
ECM should be the next big thing added to jets, and not IIR missiles IMO. It shouldn’t all be added at once, but certain features of it should slowly make their way into air RB.
Not quite, they forgot to revert the T-90S between the leak and the dev server, it slipped through at first.
125 mm 2A46M (T-90S Bhishma):
- reload time: 7.1 → 7 s

Then it got corrected, but still.

Why? Seems stupidly unfair to deny them. Its a bit like saiyng they cant add IRIS-T because it has 60G and the others only have 50G.
Im personally expecting a hard LOBL requirement and lock range caps instead. That would curtail the range advantages and limit HOBS a bit
More fair than just straight up denying weapon options because “reasons” Britain has already gotten enough of that lately with the whole Brimstones situation.
That I am expecting more than anything else though
only 60?
60 I think is the highest confirmed.
it’s a Bit like AiM-9L vs R-60M
also everything that can get ASRAAM can also Carry AIM-9L → which means it’s compatible with IRIS-T too, so you wouldn’t go empty handed
you just wouldn’t be Blatantly OP in the New WVR Jammed Radar Meta
Or R-73/Magic II vs Aim-9M
But ASRAAM is the weapon system Brits want. Not IRIS-T. Entirely different playstyle.
Id be very tempted to run 6+4 with ASRAAM but wouldnt bother with anything other than 2+6 with IRIS-Ts>
Hang on?
IRIS-T is going to be more OP than ASRAAM in the close range dogfight.
IRIS-T won’t matter if ASRAAM kills everyone from 30km away
Which is why I reckon:
But again, is stupid to deny ASRAAM because it can hit things at 30km instead of 25km like the IRIS-T.
What next? Deny METEORs but allow Aim-120Ds because they have less range?
is the range of 30km the max or the effective? Because to my knowledge the 25km is the max range of the IRIS-T and the effective range should be between 12 and 18km against a manoeuvring target.
Effective, ish.
The effective range of the ASRAAM is stated to be 3x that of the Aim-9X in rear-aspect and 6x in front aspect.
But im not sure an exact given effective range is stated anywhere. MBDA lists 25+ so Id take that as a good guestimate for max effective range.
But point still stands though. If you can fire an IRIS-T at something 25km away and in theory hit it, but deny ASRAAM because it can hit something a little further away is just dumb. Its not like they havent artificially nerfed the Aim-9Ms lock range to keep it on par with the Magic II and R-73
Screw all this modern tech, they gotta make the radar linked gyro gunsights work again
What’s even the point of having the rangefinding radars modelled on planes if they don’t do anything except trigger RWRs?
