If they do come, then should just be straight on the Gripen E. If not, Gripen NG.
Unless they put Germany and Britain in Super Hornet jail.
I had hope we had more updstes before the AESA EFT would kill almost all other current and future 4-4.5th gen additions.

they can’t put Germany there, Switzerland doesn’t have rhem and we don’t either

Would be stupid to add 1x AESA Typhoon and not the other 2
a Properly modelled AESA Typhoon would trouble most Gen 5s

So it finally gets a usable radar, doesnt make it OP. Unless you are telling me the F-15GE is OP now it has an AESA radar?
Eurofighter is way better than the F-15C, especially with the C’s gimped FM. Hopefully this update comes with decompression.

I see The Radar as the main disadvantage of the current EFT
If weaponry changes then all get it, which means that factor is entirely out of the question

it feels weird sitting on this side of the table I still remember 3 to 4 year ago sitting with a tornado F3 while every update russia or america got a new jet that pushed the bar
and tbh its kinda boring thought there would be more fun bullying F15s and Su30s which there is just not fun bullying a J-11 with 1 whole data channel or gripen : /

Well i think we know already how Gaijin stands to WW I additions.
We get a one off event where whe can unlock 1 vehicle and the rest goes to a separate game.

I agree the amount of speed you trade for the better tracking and awareness is why I like the C GE over the E.
If we see the EFTs jump to ESA, I wounder if we will see the C GE get its double racks???

Honestly I don’t feel much pitty for the US and Russia, but I feel kind of sad for China. They have received questionable/inconsistent treatment over the year and have the J-10C waiting for them, which is a very iconic jet.
However it would instantly be DOA if it were to release together with an AESA EFT, same for the Gripen E to a lesser extend.
The F-15C GE doesn’t combine an AESA radar with the EFT flight performance.
Also it doesn’t help that the F-15C GE radar is buggy and annoying to use currently.
oh no I fully agree, I do feel bad for sweden and china tho, shame they have to get caught in the cross fire but its just kinda how warthunder is and has been, hopefully we get the E and J-10C this update (would be funny seeing america and russia at the bottom of the food chain even if it were only an update)

Ima be honest, I know nothing about naval or air. I just watch controversies unfold and spew when I choose to. The most disgusting controversy at the moment is that fact that we don’t have any jeeps or HMMWVS (anti air is so situational I am not gonna count the CLAWS).
Exactly, so Malaysia in Japan would add a new (worse but cool looking) hornet.

A fairly unique one with quite a few different systems like MAWs, GBU integration and the NATO style IFF bird slicer on the nose.
