If someone is stupid enough to drop low and stay low. Sure. It will be slower and not a major threat.
But unless the Mig-25 is balanced by giving it a max altitude of 10k ft, what stops a Mig-25 player just sitting at 30-40k ft the entire match running away from anyone and everyone that tries to kill them?
Also nothing stopping them from being high and fast, dropping down, firing a missile and immediately climbing away again.
Fuel consumption and a lack of maneuverability meaning you will hit the map border and be reset to 600 kph. The BnZ analogy is valid tho.

Well then they can adjust the br, but I honestly don’t see that changing any time soon. Frankly as I said earlier, I think 12.0 is fine. I just think 11.7 could also be fine due to a number of factors. Mostly involved in how gaijin decides to model it. Will it actually have a decent radar set like it had irl? Will it actually be able to pull more than 4.5g? will the R40 be modeled decently or very poorly? There are just too many variables for me to start with doom and gloom. To me spitballing a br based off how it performed historically, I say 11.7-12.0 is valid.
Well things are what they are, and changes aren’t made without reason. Creating gaps in the TT wouldn’t be a good idea.
He won’t be able to make a turn to go around anyway, they’re exaggerating the threat of the MiG-25 way too much.

So, lets say its sat out 30k ft, which according to that chart means it will be cruising around at about Mach 1.6.
What at +/- 1 of 11.0 can catch it? Heck, even at 12.0, maybe the F-15A?
If it were to dive down to fire a missile then pull back up again, would it suddenly become subsonic and stay slow enough to be caught?
If someone was stupid enough to sit at sea level in a Mig-25, then yes, they deserve to get shot down, but Im still not seeing why aircraft without CMs or maybe even RWRs should be facing something that can fire long ranged SARH missiles from high alt at speeds nothing can catch it?
Anyone know if the Iraqi Mig25pd combat employment manual are declassified? I mean the regime that used them no longer exists, so idk how that works. Also its from the 80’s?

Kinda my point? Idk where that sits legally. In the U.S. I can just download it and share it all i want. but I know the forums are finicky about documentation and for good reason.

Put it too low and nothing can Catch it, put it high enough to get caught and itll be the Easiest pray in the game

the Soviet Union Ceased existence too, but you cant just go get Soviet Archives stuff either so Id say its complicated and wed need definite proof of declassification
