The thai Gripen E will probably still be added sometime in the future if not this patch. Japan doesnt have anything that could be added.
F2 is garbage

As I mentioned the FV438 is another vehicle which should be using MCLOS controls, I think it would do very well at 6.7-7.0. Even the current FV102 Striker depicts a very early version which would have been MCLOS only; the fire control system upgrade to ACLOS was performed over 1990-1995.
Oh i definitely agree but given we dont know what model E they want its best to leave it until they actually arrive. To put it simply they could choose the E without the IRST sensor and the shorter wings.
No reason to add it until we know what model they are getting
MCLOS is one of the few bits in Warthunder thats easier to do IRL than in game

btw does the e model with everything kitted out (flap extensions, irst, ew, etc) actually exist or is that just a ng model
Nope it exists F-39 and Gripen E for sweden have them and also have models without the wing extension. We’ve seen them on full production models now
Used to it at this point. Some people are more intrested in a gotcha than an answer in some cases.

Recent Brazilian Gripens delivered to Brazil have the extended wing design
The real question is what model will gaijin add? Cause i can’t give info on the Gripens with the extened wing or without since its all classified to my knowledge

Yeah and FV438 with its elevated sight would be able to fire from behind cover, giving the player an easier time controlling the missile.
UK ATGM evolution is barely represented in game at present. Degrading the FV438 and Striker to MCLOS would create room for a Striker LEP with (correctly modelled) thermal sight, ACLOS digital missile guidance, and the 5.9 diesel engine.
At this point I will again reiterate my support for adding Scouting to the Striker, same as Wiesel 1A2, the Type 60s, and several other light/airborne tank destroyers. I’ve tried several times to highlight this via the Suggestion and Bug Report mechanisms to no avail (thank you to Smin for previous feedback on this issue, I remain hopeful that the R in CVR(T) will be represented!).
