Yeah it looks identical to the RDA and 200. From what can be seen the bellies are the exact same on both. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just copied the RDA model and just reskinned it and slapped the pod on it.
It wouldn’t be too bad if the devs would show us exactly what the issue is with the 200’s rather than just say it doesn’t fit.

hi @Smin1080p_WT . Back in the previous (no.8) community update, various things outside of the spearhead was noted as coming in a ‘short term’ yet not much has been mentioned in this one, especially a list of potential vehicles and tech trees to come, are we gonna have to wait for some of those or are they planned for this update.
I hope Japan gets some more unique options for air instead of just F-15’s, F-5’s and other US stuff, they have a few, but not much, like the Gripen.
The Hawk would have been a very good addition to its TT. Would have finally given some different and unique playstyle to a nation that is being made repetitive on purpose.
If you look at the underside of the 209 then compare it to the 200 in game the 200 has an extrusion beneath the forward fuselage leading back to between the inlets. I believe this is what they are referring too.

If so then it can’t be as the 209 model has the same bump.

Im referring to the long rectangular area in the centre(between the parts you circled) that part is not on the other hawks just the 200s.
E. Looks like a conduit or something down the centreline, the front of the gun pod may clash with the rear of it.
The gun doesn’t sit on that part though. The gun sits further back than that so it shouldn’t interfere.
The base of the gunpod sits just behind that area.
It does seem to mount slightly further back but I can’t find a frame in the 209 trailer to directly compare.
Other than that I can’t see any difference in the model to cause issues?
we usually dont mount our gunpod on the hawks, as such good images of the underside with it is incredibly rare. This is as close as it gets
to me it looks the same, but i could be wrong

Probably not seeing as how they won’t even show us the issue, just that “it doesn’t fit” and we have to take their word for it.
The tech trees have been confirmed to be planned but not necessarily in development.
