Exactly, the people want this, but they won’t give it. The Scorpion has been suggested for like 8 years now or something. Jeeps, HMMWV’s, UAZ, Tigr, Land Rovers, the whole lot, this is what we want.

Right, it’s just not gonna be good. The US military is incapable of picking a light tank, that much is absolutely true, but the M10 Booker was just bad, that was the reason why it was cancelled.

It’s also just how the game works that makes it bad and uninteresting:

If I want a vehicle to scout in at 11.3 or higher I take a smaller vehicle with actually good mobility.

If I wanted a mobile tank with decent firepower I’d pick the IPM1/M1A1 since they should have better mobility, similar or better firepower, but with some actual protection.
I’m sure it’s decent for it’s IRL requirements/role, but that just doesn’t exist in WT. So it’s just a jack that is only mid/mediocre at all trades.

yes ok but when will gaijin put a naval event for Italy since it is the only naval nation where it has not been done to obtain a high-era ship
You mean battleship? Because they have had a high rank coastal event.
Edit: to my knowledge, russia hasn’t gotten an event battleship yet either
This would be perfect for the TOW HMMWV, or even the M151A2 TOW. Jeep with TOW would be extremely ratty, since it is smaller than Wiesel.

Unusual experimental bomber with an unusual play style? That last bit makes me think it’s not the DB-LK. How about a Mistel? There are enough in-game models to throw one together. Would there being around 250 of these deployed make it past the “experimental” stage?

The thing is, I dont think italy has EVER gotten a bluewater event ship. Not one.
So whilst USSR hasnt gotten an event dreadnought, they have gotten event bluewater before. 3 I think
This was their first ever naval event
so while the others received a battleship, Italy was given a frigate?
Regarding the MPF program: not choosing the upgraded M8 AGS, the BAE XM1302, was a mistake IMO. It’s very capable for it’s weight class and has been continually refined since the 90s. Here it is fitted with Iron fist APS
In war thunder terms, this would be a superior light tank to Booker. Since M8 AGS was locked behind an event I’d like to see XM1302 as a 10.7+ BR light tank with all the bells and whistles.

too late i already prove my point, bulltet accuracy and barrel is 2 different things.
Honestly, at this point, I believe every light tank program we have had so far, has been a money laundering scheme. The XM1302 was absolutely the better choice, yet we still picked the tank that weighed 20 tons more, and then canceled the project entirely. The fact that the M8 keeps showing up in these programs as well, is a good indication it is a good platform, especially with how it has been upgraded over the past 20 years with relatively no changes to structure.

Don’t play air, so I don’t know what the story is here, but we are DEFINITELY entitled to Jeeps, and HMMWV’s. Also, we are entitled to M8 (both the wheeled car and light tank) that is tech tree.
not to forget the rpm difference, 150/ 300 compared to 800 is night and day
