Got Hidden. The Army flag is on Taiwanese vehicles but it shows as as just China, just as with the PRC Vehicles.
why?
I think the trophy in the name refers to it being a trophy vehicle as in a capture enemy vehicle not with APS

It would be pretty wild for the VT4 for Thailand to not show up considering it’s one of the country’s primary MBT’s alongside the BM Oplot-T. Hopefully we’ll see it next update along with the VN-1C.

i prefer not to see it, japan can get other tanks from allies, but from china ? that would make things hard for gaijin

Yes and no. It’s functionally the same, but would have quite a few model changes because the one China is not a serial production tank. It’s instead the Norinco demonstrator with some visual differences such as most noticeably the flat plates on the turret basket to present the Norinco branding or the cutouts in the sideskirts.

Thailand also only uses BTA4, while the VT-4 tank in game uses slightly better DTC10.

Yeah but in essence its the same vehicle. MBT-2000 and Al-Khalid have different turret side baskets (and the Khalid has better thermals) but for the rest they’re physically the same tank.

Yes, it’s basically the same vehicle. But it does need a separate model so it makes sense for Gaijin to have both of them.
Yeah but the difference is the VT4 is Thailand’s primary main battle tank. It’s one thing if it was just a few they owned but it’s the most numerous main tank. Thailand is the sub-tree of Japan and the VT4 plays a key component in helping bolster lineups since it would be at the same BR of the BM Oplot-T.
As this is the R&R thread (saying this due to mods), we could expect it to come eventually in the next update or so as it was leaked previously.
Edit: For anyone. Has there been any input/comments from leakers if the vehicle is still coming at all?

the problem isn’t the addition itself. its them saying that its presence in the files doesn’t mean its coming, but for “internal testing”. kinda a lame excuse if you ask me.

While you’re here Smin, regarding the Hawk 200 RDA, have the devs considered allowing the Skyflashes on the outer pylons? I don’t mean getting four Skyflashes, I just mean being able to run two Skyflashes & two drop tanks (and the wing tip sidewinders)

Just in the files. its clear that it was meant to be added but drama from a certain group meant gaijin decided to delay it at minimum.
