I’m gonna keep it real with you, the AESA Typhoon most likely won’t differ from the Tranche 2s we currently have in any way except for the radar
Given how overdue even SAL Brimstone 2s are, and how much noise we’ve made about this over the past 15 months. I think they are possible. Also the Litening V Tpod I think is also possible, but I doubt it would actually differ all that much from the Litening III, mostly just visually.
But everything else, will probably be added in drips and drabs over the next few years.
I would love an Aces High 2/3 style map. It was essentially one giant open world where you can go anywhere with ships, tanks, and planes, and the goal is to take territory from the enemy.
If Litening V doesn’t differ from Litening III, why would they add it?
The Sniper and Litening III pods already are mostly the same, so a better pod isn’t needed.
Brimstone 2s just aren’t gonna happen. Gaijin would have added mmW JAGMs, if mmW was on the table.
Because it would be visually more accurate.
Brimstone 2, 3 and Spear-3s all have the same MMW+SAL combo that the Brimstone 1s in game already have. If they can add Brimstone 1s without MMW they can add the Kinematically far far better and more historically accurate Brimstone 2 limited to SAL for now. Though they cant pretend MMW doesnt exist for that much longer.

I will continue to complain about the ahistorical modeling of a weapon system.
Brimstone 2s will kinematically perform similar to KH-38MT and AASMs. Both of which gain full access to their FnF capabilities which are both highly questionable.
SAL Brimstone 2s should have been added with the Tornado GR4 when they refused to add MMW, adding them 15 months later on a new Typhoon doesnt change the absence in FnF capability that the Typhoons should have or the current performance of the GR4 or SLE with SAL Brimstone 1s.

Im talking more about range. Brimstone 2 is around 50-60km. Which is onpar to both the KH-38MT and AASM. Though still substantially slower than KH-38s

If you need to dodge anti air and dont have time to get your missiles of the rails you dodge and go low ( i would assume, I don’t have any top tier planes so im not sure)
And then you would get close to the battlefield, pop up and fire your missiles. The kh38mt is like a boat and the brimstones are like a lightweight track car, you can fly very close and very fast and still hit your targets with brimstones,
My point was not denying the brimstones to the game, my point was that the brimstones are better than the kh38, plus u get 18 of them right? So the brimstones (mmw) are better than the kh38 in my opinion.
You said they are similar and I don’t agree
