Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

russia will never be competitive at top tier, bias wont save them

i would argue the moment we get iir missiles, the ones with datalink+ir will force everyone to play bvr.
and i highly doubt aim-260 will come before iir missiles

if you think long range missiles will be competetive then idk

so… next week probably devblog season.

Yeah, but hte issue doesnt change, the ability to take off, firing off said cruise missiles and then immediately RTB… has insane potential for exploitation.

well smin already confirmed that indonesia isnt a subtree and that no more AESA planes are planned for japan currently

if aim-260 comes right now it would just be a worse amraam c-5 lol for in game purposes

well then there is also stuff like the pl-15 and pl-17

i dont see america being the best nation missile wise

Maybe a single friday dev blog but most likely next week

AMRAAMs already kinds force everyone into long range fights because the medium range is already in it’s killzone and sneaking closer rhan it’s effective range will still always get you killed by another AMRAAM from another enemy

The Indian Rafale and Su-30MKI are actually very interesting variants with unique weaponry. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be fun.

The only thing unfun is how little space India has to fit their airforce alongside the British.

it’d be a top tier Phoenix

yeah i would assume the ultra long range missiles will all come after iir missiles.
if they add 180+ km missiles b4 iir i would be surprised
yeah pl-15 and 17 are both better than aim 260

the r-37 is pure garbage 8 g overload they will be easier to dodge than the aim-9b

8 g target overload. you know thats the same as the r-27 right, and that’s 35 gs

add METEOR

it’s slower than AMRAAM until 20km

yeah lmao

+180km missiles are poinless anyways since the biggest maps in the game are 180km diagonally

8Gs ttarget overload which means that the target can manouver at 8Gs and the missile will still be able to hit it
