And you kept Corsica, what an absolute chad
Nah, you forgot to remove Benelux and Finland.
It would be fine if they gave its actual in-service limitations for the time (no HMD, 6 MICA) but instead they added a fictional Indian variant for France.
Thought HMD was prototyped and the missile count was theoretical?
no
they are actually for F4 version.
and these improvements was tested in India F3 version.
It was tested on a French f3r and in service with Indian f3r
idk id rather believe official Bundeswehr information than schizophrenic ramblings of forum denizens
yes, that demonstrator
The ZTQ-15 doesn’t have composite armor in the turret like the VT-5. it instead relies on heavy ERA so it wouldn’t have much better armor. Might even be worse in game
By “blocked,” I mean, Italy has a substantial list of vehicles that can be added, but it seems like Gaijin is reluctant to add them, either because they’re incomplete or there’s not enough information. Italy, being a smaller nation, prefers to copy and paste vehicles that Italy participated in, like the Samp-T, which is a French/Italian project.
The M55 copy and paste.
The Leopard 1A2, which is made under license, but with a huge difference; the German one has a stabilizer (and they could have put a Lion as a tank).
you don’t want to know the service limitations to German EFTs then
better to leave the french than open that one
Im not sure how you concluded the SAMP/T is copy paste. They are entirely different cabs:
Clearly Copy Pasta
At least they realized that France and Italy use different trucks, and I give them credit for that, but the point is that for smaller nations, they don’t put much effort into it, from what I see, except for a few special vehicles.
P.S. And in any case, a friend of mine is still using an Italian ship’s event that hasn’t arrived yet.
Croissant pasta.
In general, when it comes to Italian vehicles — or those actually used by the Italian Army — there really aren’t that many “paper tanks,” aside from the never-ending story of the P.43 or a few incomplete armored car prototypes (like the Fiat AVH6636). Many of the missing vehicles could easily be implemented: in most cases, we’re talking about the same hulls already in the game but with different armament, or later models (such as the Centauro II).
There’s a good variety of vehicles that could be added — just think of all the proposals based on the Centauro chassis, the various series of the vehicle itself, or platforms like the C13. These are just examples, not an exhaustive list.
What I’ve never understood, however, is this sort of ostracism toward foreign vehicles used by Italy — like the Leopard 1, which was only added after years despite around 1,000 being in service, or the M47, of which more than 3,000 were used — or toward foreign postwar aircraft operated by the Italian Air Force, such as the Mustang, Spitfire Mk IX, or P-38. The game is full of similar cases for other nations, but when it comes to Italy, there’s always someone opposing it — usually the same “purists,” or people who don’t even play Italy but just step in to argue.
In my opinion, the issue isn’t really “laziness” per se, but rather a matter of development priorities: smaller nations attract fewer players and therefore receive less attention. Still, it’s frustrating, because many of these vehicles wouldn’t even be “meta” or top-tier — they’d simply add more variety and completeness to the tech tree without creating balance problems. In the end, if someone wants to play them, they can; if not, they can just ignore them. But there’s no reason why historically grounded and technically feasible content should be left out. It’s a shame that over the years we’ve often received little to no content, when a few additions here and there would have made a big difference.
“Because of the many player complaints about gun SPAA’s being too powerful, we decided that a slight buff was needed.”
I would take an Skyranger with APFSDS, would be funny with an firerate of 1800 rounds per Minute
While M55 could be skipped imo too (or better just be hidden in folders as well as most other copypaste, so people could avoid researching it), but Leopard 1A2 was a very important tank for Italy + it still has some differences compared to German one. I was only disappointed by the fact that it didn’t get early APFSDS and form a new 8.3 lineup with vehicles which are not very good to play with alone (Sadam and the guy in the box with rocket launcher).
Btw another fact which makes me sad is the grill of the Italian 1A5 😆 I thought they would fix it with an arrival of 1A2 since Italian 1A5s had 1A2 chassis irl.
they pointed it out to him
