What happend since the update that radars in TWS dont lock people anymore unless i do it via this damn mouse control stuff

Lack of proof it ever got a new radar or HMD installed, available information suggests the aircraft could never use the new weaponry it was displayed with. Likely a MiG-23MLD that was dressed up pretty for display purposes.

That was more real than this is, and they’re two different things honestly. The Yak-141 was an unfinished prototype with plans for multiple things which it features ingame. The MiG-23-98 doesn’t appear to have ever truly been planned to be fitted with the new radar, a new HMS system, or weaponry, and I wouldn’t even go so far as to call it a prototype.

MiG-23-98 with all the marketed materials really wouldn’t be a big deal. It’s literally still a MiG-23. More than likely won’t have a targeting pod (one never existed or was even planned for it) so it’s going to have 90’s-00’s era AGM’s. Pylons limit it pretty hard. Would match up well with the F-18’s in terms of capabilities, tbh.
