Sweden doesn’t have Chinooks
Pretty sure there was a Radar Modernization Program for the F-15E that upgraded the radar to AESA before the F-15EX
So they could just change the F-15E that is in game right now and give it AESA 🤷♂️
Adding a F-15E “Late” that only has the radar difference seems kinda petty, even for Gaijin
There’s a lot of other recent upgrades to the F-15E’s that would more than justify an F-15E late

Alpha Jet TH, Alpha jet A, F-5T, F-5TH, F-16A OCU, AV-8S, T-84 Oplot, Stingray are all unique vehicles.
None of those are premium, event, or battlepass.
Premiums are almost always copy-paste.
It’s way more than just a radar upgrade.
The F-15E late would have more CMs, better RWR, better A2A and A2G armaments.

None of those are unique, when they are just modifications of aircraft found in other trees.
They could just as easily have been event, squadron, or premium options in the origin tech tree.
It’s also why you can discard half the “unique” additions for tree suggestions because they make claims like “See! See! It’s the exact same tank with an extra .30 cal machine gun and a different designation so it’s unique!!!?!?”
Or even better, when it’s an airframe or tank completely missing from the origin nation tech tree despite being used, so it’s a “unique addition because it’s not in game yet”

None of those aircraft with their configurations and/or 3D models are in other tech trees.
Thai Alpha Jets use notably stronger engines.
F-5Ts are unique in ordnance, cockpits [which you should know], and so forth.
And no, unique vehicles should NEVER be event, squadron, or premium.
Only copy-paste should be premium vehicles.
Which is exactly what all of those are. C&P and in some cases, slight changes.
They are not unique.

The only thing I would add to this is the F-15E RMP. It’s an option if Gaijin doesn’t want to add the EX yet. Although I would also argue if we do get the RMP we should get it on the current F-15E instead of another waste of 410k RP.

It would be a very interesting helicopter for naval once it really gets into cold war stuff
All I see is less applicable A2G armaments than the US Chinook.

Yes but silly helicopter would be silly, doesn’t need to be meta defining, besides gaijin is 50 50 when it comes to theoretical mounts and evidence of them in service

Not saying it wasn’t, just saying gaijin is inconsistent at times when it comes to deciding what they want on a vehicle. The more silly vehicles the better and as i mentioned with Quartas i didn’t know if the US had armed Chinooks, i had seen Sea Knights that looked like Chinooks and now i want both lol. Im a huge fan of weird off meta vehicles that just make trees more unique.
