He has probably been contacted and kindly explained the situation.
But the fact that we need to bring up moderator infights for hours just to have a perfectly valid report accepted is concerning.

That, and when 2-3 year old reports need to be brought up over and over again to maybe just maybe get some traction for things being fixed is crazy.
Generally. I get the feeling that the only times certain things get fixed is because of a TM actively poking the devs about them and that things rarely actaully get fixed via a public report alone.
For example, Tornado FM.
Well, and there’s the front of reports who were “accepted” not being actually addressed for years, no matter how quick and easy of a fix they are.
Example, M735. 2 years since it was broken upon a wrong report that was immediately overwritten by a correct one.
Took them 7 days to break it- not even 2 years has been enough to fix it.
You cropped the first part where the bug was rejected lol
regardless, the M735 currently is fine as it is, they nerfed down the flat pen but buffed the angled pen and changed the spall preset from short rod to long rod, effectively making it a better round at angles than old M735
sure it might need a buff again, idk abt the exact report, but the current implementation is technically better.
This is a complete fabrication. Names were hidden to prevent the doxing of staff memebers that happend, which we will never tolerate and in no way is justifiable.
How odd- the first mod rejected the report, BUT wrote the response as if he had accepted it.
Maybe it was indeed just a technical misunderstanding?
Nothing is fine as long as it’s wrong- and M735 is. If I recall correctly, it’s currently modelled after a pre-production model instead of the service one.
Ah, ok! Thanks for saving that up, I ALMOST thought for a moment it wasn’t as bad as it looked xD
“Unknown origin”… literal DIEHL… for God’s sake…
Gladfully, we can still count on Smin, Gunjob, and a couple others. But I feel bad that we need to annoy them every time.

Could be another Diehl
From Alpha Centauri
There was a misunderstanding on the origin of the source which has since been clarified.
I would also like to remind everyone this is not a bug report discussion topic.
If you have an isuse with a report or need a review on something, you can contact any Tech Mod or myself. This topic is not the place.
damage control at its finest
and you’ve again conveniently ignored what i said in my sentence
I don’t care about whether something performs “better” or “worse”- I only care whether it performs exactly as it should or not.
It’s not about “buffs” or “nerfs”; it’s about accuracy.
Also, fixed M735 would have both better flat AND angled penetration. The old iteration was wrong, and so is this one; the correct one would be better in both aspects.
Anyway, changing subject to a more lighthearted one!
Thr marketing team at DIEHL were delighted by War Thunder’s IRIS-T loading screen art and asked if they could have a full resolution variant with War Thunder’s logo to display at their offices.
I love this, hahah. Do you know if thid was done?
And my point is that aside from the inaccuracy, which is a valid argument, people constantly complained about how the new M735 is “worse” than the old one when it is simply not true as they are just looking at the flat penetration values at hand.
MY POINT is that it is NOT a worse round that people constantly yapped about, so while people can continue to try and get the M735 fixed/buffed, I am here trying to dispel the misconception and misinformation spread by people who keeps harping that it’s a nerf, when it isn’t.
Or PR team are on the case.
