Man it’s annoying to see magic two sees two flare and goes nuts over it

I’ve had a 9M go straight for the flares of a hovering AV-8B+ that made literally no attempt to change direction the other day, in that same match had a 9M that I fired side on at a guy from around 1.5km and all the guy done to defeat it was flare once, not even pitch up or do anything other than fly straight ahead. Also similarly had other IRCCM missiles just go straight for flares like a crackhead to his stash.

But weirdly I’ve seen some non-IRCCM missiles like R-60M’s and 9L’s be better at ignoring flares than IRCCM missiles. Had a R-60M fired in a head-on from about 2.5km away and dropping flares and manoeuvring it still just ignored the flares and tracked me perfectly. It even ignored the missile I fired back at the guy in addition to my flares.

Obviously IRCCM missiles aren’t going to be perfect in ignoring flares but I’ve seen them fail when fired under good → perfect conditions more and more since the update came out.

Yes it’s been very broken but they keep ignoring me, and all the other people that already have complained about it.

They better have some big fix ready soon or else I’m gonna believe it’s on purpose.

As the report was made before the post major missile fixes, new clips with new clog files from the current game version will be needed. As all of the files and evidence within the report are outdated.

This also appears to be two separate issues in one (IRCCM missiles going for flares and a larger issue of missiles in generals going for ordinance). If both still exist, please report them separately, as its not the same issue.

There are plans for low tier Hungarian aviation as we have already said some time ago. But no new news on them currently.

Would like them sooner than later as I need them for my pure’ity goals lol

That in itself is crazy. I would be surprised if flares would have defeated an SRAAM fired against a hovering Harrier

I only made the bug report after the big missile fix update. Because I hoped it would be fixed with that hot fix patch. The IRCCM issue is part of it because I thought the munition targeting was related to the IRCCM issue.

Do you want me to make 2 new bug reports? Or just edit this one one that focuses on the IR missiles targeting munitions issue (its mainly the IR missiles targeting munitions. That was the original issue of the bug report) and make another that is the IRCCM issue?

Legend says the Eurofighter’s HUD once existed… but it’s been squshed for over a month and a half, and the Attitude Indicator doesn’t even fit on screen anymore.

Here’s another pic of what the HUD used to be like… playing sim with the current broken mess just ruins the whole experience.

This reply needs a response, if gaijin knew the game engine couldn’t handle it then they need to do something.

If you try turning at high speeds you either lockup or it takes so long to start turning that you get locked into turning. You cant possibly expect a vehicle with only 8 missiles, sorry 4 cause you cant replenish the box. But you cant expect people to go to cap point when the vehicle cant move half the time. We need an actual response for this because if the game engine couldn’t handle the vehicle in the first place maybe it shouldn’t have been added. I doubt you need more videos but might i remind you this is one of my clips where im being pushed by an abrams who took a shot at me earlier, i died about 10 seconds after this clip because i couldn’t move.

This vehicle needs to be either removed or completely redone, it is the most frustrating vehicle i have ever touched

So gaijin just wants us to attempt to get more ammo by going to a cap point when the mobility is that bad, its a joke right. You can’t tell me you’re serious without making me laugh, its like gaijin doesn’t seem theres a problem in the slightest with this. So you want a vehicle that gets stuck on basic terrain, cant reverse when on a slight hill. Has the shortest range missiles, least amount of missiles, no Datalink, ect ect to go and rearm at a cap point when it runs out of ammo. Im sorry but that is the most silly decision i have ever heard and it tells me the devs have no idea about just how bad this vehicle is. It needs something done about the ammo at least as on some maps you literally cant leave spawn because you get stuck on hills. cough cough Carpathians need me to post footage of me spawning in and needing to beg in chat for a friendly to drag me up the hill so i can do my job? Or is that what gaijin expects all Elde players to do is be a worthless wasted player spot on the team since the vehicle fails to do its intended job.

Again, you cant expect people to be happy with in “in the future”, how long will we wait for a functional vehicle? Last i checked some bug reports that are also fairly serious have been years in the making so you can see what im getting at. A simple we’re working on it will not do when a vehicle that is still so buggy its makes the Gripen flight model on the dev server in December look like a fully completed model (a vehicle that could take off upside down lol). Im sorry but we need to know that something is being worked on when it comes to the Elde because right now the expected outcome is we wait 6 months for a reply that “We’re working on it” so hopefully you see the problems. Again you can’t tell me that is a good response. At least tell me you understand the problems ive mentioned again is that normal to have to beg to my teammates so that i can do my job?

Though I do wonder why that vehicle was added when the backend work wasnt truly ready for it yet, feels like the snail set itself up for that 1.

This does sound like one of those cases where Gaijin implements something new without actually being able to implement it.

Like for example with the Tornados and having to wait 18 months for Chaff and leading edge wing slats

It’s a shame that Gaijin didnt plan on having powered trailers or at least a stop gap solution to it with the introduction of a vehicle dependent on it. They seriously cannot be blind-sided by this issue. Especially with the importance of mobility in the micro maps we have in game for GRB.
