iirc, it covered a lot of nations, but Id guess it would have 1 primary nation. Probably something like Poland and then I cant think of any reason why any and all WARSAW pact vehicles couldnt be added to such a tree if/when needed.
Like how Britain is the entirity of the Commonwealth or Sweden is all of Scandanvia
I mean, Czechoslovakia alone has 100+ ground vehicles that are either different to in game vehicle variants or completely new altogether. There’s also the Donets spaa, Vab MK3 SICH, Otaman 3, Kevlar E, 7tp, Biala, Rys and AB-13 from Ukraine and Poland (obviously missing plenty of other vehicles from those 2, let alone a few bits and bobs from the Baltic states).
This means that we could exclude any vehicles that wouldn’t have any gameplay differences from the ones in game (namely the Ukrainian challenger 2 and gepard)
Here’s a proposal of a Czechoslovakia tree. It can very well stand on its own with minimal copy paste and folders (keep in mind the largest in a tech tree is 4 and in the event tab, it can go up to seven vehicles in a folder). Of course not every vehicle is likely to get in, so some of the vehicles can be replaced by Polish, Ukrainian or Baltic vehicles (maybe Bulgaria aswell if it’s not locked in to Italy)
Isn’t this just contradicting yourself? Saying there won’t be enough room for unique vehicles and then chalking it all down to T-series.
An independent tree would be the best way to get the most unique vehicles and mods in. It’s extremely tiring to keep seeing several tree and subtrees being chalked to “T-80/F-16/Leopard/Gripen” while completely ignoring most of the unique vehicles and mods.
We can only try but when people start calling tech from subs useless on no real bases, you know I’ll jump on that as it’s not fair to call something useless without a good reason other than I dislike that thing.
Everything should have a home in war thunder but at the same time it should be implemented correctly.
