@Smin1080p_WT , I know this is a topic that’s been talked about a lot over the past 7 months, but since there hasn’t been any improvement, it’s worth to refresh. Do we know if they’re fixing or developing the Captor-M radar soon? Because it’s by far the worst top tier radar right now. The fact that it takes 5 seconds or even more to lock with HMS PD and ACM PD is disappointing for the technology the Captor-M should have.

Several reports concerning Captor have been fixed since the aircraft launched.
Its best to report specific individual issues separately and with any clips or evidence auch as this so they can be passed to the devs for review: Community Bug Reporting System
Any issues already reported with thier own seperate report thats been accepted are naturally not in need of duplication.

After 7 months, I think the devs should just admit they cant fix CAPTOR-M (Heck they tried for a second time to give it GMTI and it completely gorped the radar so much so they had to remove it entirely again) that they should just replace it with CAPTOR-E.
Still no Priority Track
Still no GMTI
Still no functional TWS mode
Players forced to hard lock everything using HMD and ACM which has now been broken
Suffice to say, the Typhoon can hardly be considered to even have a radar anymore.
And if CAPTOR-E is for some reaosn too good. (not that the Rafale or Su-30SM have any issues with AESA) Then can we just get Blue Vixen please

This mode doesn’t exist in game for any radar set. Thus is a suggestion, not a bug.
Not present on many radar sets, not captor specific.
Please ensure a report is properly made. Nothing can be done with claims alone.
It is currently present on all AESA radars in game.
And many have the GMTI without issue (F-15E, Su-30SM, F-2, etc) but 2 out of 2 attempts to add GMTI to the Typhoon has failed.

This is not the same as what is suggested for Captor M, which is not an AESA. This is an oversimplification of the comparason.
Then its logged and under review. An off topic discussion isnt needed again on it here.

The code exists and the Typhoon already has a nerfed scan rate to accomodate P-track being in operation.
It could very easily and rapidly be applied to all M-Scan radars that have P-Track IRL. And again, if P-track is a game limitaiton. Then CAPTOR-E or CEASER could be given to the Typhoon to replace the CAPTOR-M

Actually as an update, that report was fixed internally two months ago with the deployment of TWS+.
So a new report will be required with fresh files after this change from the previous major.

So in somewhat other related Typhoon news.
Anything for Getting BOL modeled historically accurately?
The completely fake and ahsitorical implementation got a massive amount of community support last dev forum but nothing. We still have micro CMs for no apparent reason.
Any chance we will see BOL actually being modeled correctly (or even just reverting it back to what it was when first added) anytime soon?
Playing with essentially no CMs on multiple aircraft just sucks

Yeah its a pain when you run out of your non BOL CMs on some aircraft so you essentially have to waste every single bit of your BOLs left to defeat a non IRCCM missile lmao

I’d rather have they copy the code of a less inconsistent top tier mechanical radar to the EFT than giving it AESA and instantly making the EFT the best long range BVR plane while it remains a top 2 WVR aircraft at the same time.
i wonder why a never completed ship is stronger than the most powerfull WWII battleship (IJN Yamato). It just shows the blatant Russian bias ones more…

Gromvoiny his dreams contain better sources for Russian equipment than sources do.
Then give it usable WVR missiles then. If its not allowed to be usable in BVR. Then at least it can be competitive in WVR. (Just because its the second or third best gunfighter at top tier, is irrelevant if its stuck with 9Ms)
You or the dev team dont play the Typhoon.
The Radar does not work even in ACM HMD mode.
We acknowledge you have all systematically made worse since it was added. The only buff Captor M has had was the interrogation mode but that was given to each aircraft.
And no i’m not reporting it because it will be ignored like all the other Typhoon bugs.
Yeah. They seriosuly went out of their way to ensure the soviets would steam roll this update in naval. I realsied the other day that the soviets dont actually have a single Rank 6+ ship that they either built themselves or was even completed and yet are somehow the meta top tier nation
