I’d say the biggest issue is that before they are at least produced we can’t really get an accurate depiction of them.
Sure, for the Gripen E it might just be that we are missing a camo that can be taken from promotional material, but it could also be equipped to a certain specification we don’t know before it actually exists.
Then for the JSI we don’t even have an aircraft to base it on. We know some things it will include, but not what exactly it should be. Chances are if they added it now, it would turn out to be complete fiction in a few years.
So I doubt they’d add either, even if there’s at least a slight chance for the Gripen still since for all we know so far it’ll be just a standard Gripen E.
Again we dont need the E right now when the NG exists and would be a better platform for them to test before they shove another gimped 420krp grind on swedens air tree for the 5th time.
Figured the C5 on the NG and 9X/IRIS-T as its more likely wed get that before EW. Or we could get the different NG models to separate them like one with or without the IRST sensor on the nose and have them have 9M or IRIS-T.
Also no such thing as a Late Gripen E, congrats you do sound like gaijin when it comes to creating fictional jets so for a second i could’ve mistaken you for a dev.
They could just bump the existing F-2 to 14.0 and give it the AAM-4B with really any one of these 4 features:
Better chaff/notch resistance, incredibly hard to fool
Ignores multipathing completely
Slightly better engine/more energy and better guidance mechanisms
Always use datalink, if F-2 maintains lock, missile cannot be fooled
Any one of these would make it unique and potent. While the AAM-4B could be used by the F-15J(M), I think it would be nice for the F-2 to have something special for a while.
Yes, it’s quite annoying and going on for a few weeks now
Yeah but if you have no interest in grinding a pretty awful tree and just want the triangle jet then its a nice alternative while grinding literally every other air tree thats worth playing lol. I mean i grinded most of my Squadron vehicles that i thought were unique while grinding different nations, eventually ill grab the JF-17 since rn the Chinese air tree only has a few interesting grabs, give it a few more updates and ill eventually grind them but for now ill stick with the remaining 120k rp left on the JF-17 to have a taste.
I did actually swap it to my current SQV grind. But im also not playing a huge amount of WT outside of a bit of naval at the moment and now I’ve got Vangaurd spaded… Probably wont be playing naval a massive amount either and I have 0 motivation to play either air or ground as SB has been abandoned by the devs and we didnt even get any game breaking bug reports fixed, let alone any new aircraft, nor did they actually add anything of use to the British ground tree.
Hey guess we’ll have the F 35 at the same time. I have the ability to grab basically all the new spaa but im just not really interested, i grinded the only thing that i wanted being the M24DK and now im just doing some air battles for SL. This update for me was pretty much a huge L for all my nations even if the SPAA was a good addition.
Spading Vanguard has probably gotten me enough SLs for next major :D
I started with 3 mil, earned about another mil grinding warpsite. Bought Warspite & Vanguard and expert crew on Vanguard and i’ve already grinded another 1.5 mil just spading Vangaurd :D
But yeah. Even if I played other air trees. Nothing of interest was added. I wont grind another ground tree and Badger is just a waste of time to grind and even if I wanted it. I have the 3 before it to grind. So it would take me 6 months to unlock.
Definetly the worst update we’ve had in years. Only W was the naval decompression. So might create a 6.0 or 6.3 line-up and play some early dreadnoughts
I dont know what people were expecting with Badger, its just a slightly better CV9030 of which is at 9.3, if anyone had seen how garbage that was they would’ve known the badger would be horrible to play.
Nah i mean its just the bushmaster is terrible. I mean at least its got mobility sorta but the bushmaster is unbearable. The CV9030 has it and the CV90 MK.IV (E) has it at 10.7 its a worthless gun.
mmm, imo at 200 rpm its workable but certainly not the best. On both of the CTCWs I don’t really mind it, and on the 9030 I find the rear cupola more of a pain. But at 100 rpm? painful is the word I’d use, still not as bad as the turret basket though… Still, with a decent map I can make the badger work, although city maps are hell.
Personally when I saw “Badger” in the leaklists I was hoping for the ATGM carrier variant, I enjoy the Ratel ZT-3, and the Badger MCT should have Fire On The Move, which would be fun.
