This is why I was mentioning US equivalents that could match these.
The Gripen-E would fit well with the F-16C PoBIT. China would get the F-16V Block 70 as that’s the equivalent the PoBIT aims to match.
The J-10B/C would be fine as well eventually, but the problem is finding a patch for it.
Japan sadly doesn’t have any 14.0 worthy aircraft unless they ungimp the F-15J(M) or add the F-15JSI or F-2 Super Kai.
The F-15JSI still hasn’t been built yet, and the F-2 Super Kai is just a concept. I’d be down for both to be added, but for now it’s uncertain. At the very least the JSI would be a F-15C Late equivalent but with slightly better avionics.
The F-15J(M) could receive proper AAM-4s with less drag and a better booster. Could throw better AMRAAMs on there too if necessary. But even then that may not make it 14.0 material yet. I’m not sure.

It is becoming more and more apparent we need EW suites and ECCM. The Gripen’s strength is just that, it’s never going to beat a Typhoon/Rafale in raw performance so it uses it’s excellent EW suite.
In game though it will as you said be a Gripen with an AESA radar and an additional pylon.

Why does the US always need equivalents to everyone else, but everyone else doesnt necessarily need equivalents to the US? Do Sweden, Japan and China really have an F-15E Equivalent yet?
The Eurofighter has full spherical coverage. The F-15C has clear blind spots above and below, and the F-15E has better coverage below but not fully spherical.
Much better TWR as well. but yeah, Gripen C is underperforming LOADS at the moment, I imagine the Gripen E is going to be pretty poor too

It’s not about my nation being better than your’s. That doesn’t matter. Everyone should have relatively equally performing vehicles.

Right. So before we even start looking at adding anything new to the US. Im of the opinion the first step is to bring all 10 nations up to an equal footing.
Its annoying that everytime we get super close to everyone being equal. Something moves the goal post further along and its almost always a US addition.
Quantity != Quality
When I mention equivalents I mean equivalents.
For example:
The F-16C PoBIT would be the equivalent vehicle for the US where the Gripen-E, J-10B/C, F-16V, MiG-35, etc. etc. get added. I’m not detracting from other nations getting new things, I’m adding onto it.
The quality/qualities of the F-16C PoBIT are different from the F-15E. Just because the F-15E exists, that does not mean the US shouldn’t get an equivalently capable vehicle to what other nations are getting at the same time.
Maybe… But given every update has a finite amount of dev time. It would be frustrating to see US getting another addition and another nation maybe not getting anything as a result.
2023 was aweful for Britain and Sweden as they watched the US get 1-2 new aircraft every single major update and getting even bug fixes for our 1 or 2 additions from the entire year proved ot be a chore. Heck. Sitll got bug reports from that year still untouched,

No Gen 4/ 4.5 airframe kinematically will perform to the levels of Typhoon and Rafale.
F-15EX will still suffer the same issues (yes it will be able to enter the Notch faster and it’s radar and payload are superior) but in terms of raw performance they will lose.
Su-35 is in the exact same position as is the J-10C
The beauty of the vehicles I mentioned is that they’re either based on vehicles already in the game or they’ve been leaked by gszabbi and the other leakers beforehand.
So dev time has already been spent on them, and these take less time to develop than new airframes.
The F-16C PoBIT can be based on a Block 50, which we already have in game. It would mostly just need a new radar model. It would also just need the HMD from the A-10C/Rafale since it gets Scorpion HMD.
The F-15C Late would only require a new cockpit and new radar model. Maybe it would need a BOL mount.
The F/A-18E was leaked back when the F/A-18C Late was added, so we know that’s already being worked on.
Perhaps, but given i’ve been waiting 13 months for them to C&P the EEGS from the FA2 over to the FRS1/FRS1e or add the 495 gal fuel tanks from the F3 late over to the other 10 Tornados. I dont think that “its already modeled” really helps that much
Also, given that the Typhoons biggest issue is the need for them to scrap the radar and start again. If they are developing new radars for all 3 of those additions, then it might mean the Typhoon gets 0 work done. Heck, they tried for a second time to add GMTI to the Typhoon and had to remove it because it was bugged (no idea why it works fine on everyone else, but is busted whenever they try add it to the CAPTOR-M)

Typhoons radar and payload at this point are a deliberate balancing decision. There is no way Gaijin can be that incompetent.

Probably not. The weight is too much.
But plenty of sources for AMRAAM mounted on the inner most wing pylons. Which would allow for 2+8 or even 6+6 weapons fit. But sources from Eurofighter Consortium are not considered valid sources for some reason

You really underestimate the snail. This is the same company that broke the game for a week and we’re still trying to get game breaking bugs fixed. It genuinely wouldn’t surprise me if they don’t know how to fix the radar at this point.

Externally yeah it would pretty much be the same (other than CFTs) but it would also require the cockpit to be remade. Part of the PoBIT upgrades includes enhancing the cockpit to the same as the block 70/72 specs which mostly means some upgrades to the MFD’s and HUD.
