Jet aircraft benefit far more than WW2 prop aircraft that already have sufficient fuel loads for most matches.

True, so jets should get them first. But that still doesnt mean that props shouldnt get them eventually. There is no such thing as too much choice
Its not a “never ever”. Just other tank variants are of a lower priority than those aircraft that have no tanks at all.

do you know which drop tank the F-106 gets?
In the case of the Phantoms (which need a gunpod) I think they should be classed in the same priority as jets without any because the reality is, you will almost never run a fuel tank because the gunpod is just so much more valuable.

These drop tanks for WWII aircraft would only be handy for long lasting simulator battles.
But not a lot of people do that because the reward to play ratio is TERRIBLE.

yeah, they are gas guzzlers too so they really need the extra fuel

Though even just cinematic aesthetics is enough to justify it imo

Yeah… Id quite like a mosquito light bomber. That would be kinda fun. Though I too would be quite happy with just an update that added a load of missing loadout options. Like ARM, ASMs and CBUs
Yeah, its why I want the hindenburg tanks currently found on the F3 Late onto all other Tonkas. Really annoyed they havent been C&Ped over yet
Done right, I dont think it would necessarily be an issue. But yes, would need an economy boost to factor in Transit times along with better and more frequent PvE objectives.

id imagine the 495 gallons of extra fuel each are pretty useful in sim

I assume so… I have never played the F3 Late in SB because fighting Rafales, Typhoons and Su-30s just doesnt sound fun. But would get used a lot on the GR1/GR4 or even the 12.0 F3
