It had the F-14D’s avionics. It had its radar, fire control system, etc… besides the engines, it was effectively an F-14D.

I was implying that I have next to none of the events. And any I do have, I had to GE because I couldn’t get them done.

You don’t have to be a good player at all
All you need is an F-4(C or E is a best option, EJ is similar, British ones are worse) or F-111(better than F-4s) with FFARs and that’s it.
Go into ASB, pick Tunisia(i think it’s called something like this) and destroy enemy airfields. 1 attack from F-111 takes about 5 minutes and gives you about 1450 points before the multipliers. After multipliers it’s something about 3000 iirc. And you also get some points for destroying modules. Takes about 45 minutes to get 45k for a star and basically involves 0 PVP. All you do is take off - gain some alt - dump FFARs into a base - J out
Sir. I can’t even take off in sim, much less do anything else. (This also requires having a proper sim controller than keyboard, and mouse)
and having an air tree(mostly the US one) well into the jet age. My jets are premium, I got through packs, due to other things they came with and 1 event, one I get in an SL create.
There are automatic control regimes in ASB(well, at least for jets) which greatly simplify your flight
No it doesn’t. I personally use only keyboard and mouse and do ALL air events in ASB

a xbox controller is more than enough to play sim

I guess. But imo it’d be better if they made the early model event and the one with a gun and stuff more suited for ARB as tt. Still really happy to see this aircraft

Yes this true but the navy was never planned on putting araams 120 on the f14A/B only the f14D and they simply used the f14A witch has been said successfully tested just not in service and with the upgraded f14D apg71 it can do a lot more and better
