Not in a while.
But… it can’t be fake. It has the F-106 on it, it has to be real.
love the Japanese exclusive T-33 for some reason lmao
as if Gaijin would ever miss an opportunity to C&P a vehicle into every tech tree
Changed my mind on needing new content for my withdrawal symptoms.
What if we got an update that instead purely focused on fixing the game. An operation health, if anyone remembers that. Cockpits for things that don’t have it, actually taking bug reports seriously instead of when it’s convenient, etc.
Yep. Take Britain for example.
Fixing a dozen or so CR2 bugs would add 6 new top tier MBTs
and basically every single Rank 7 and 8 aircraft has at least 1 really annoying bug/missing feature that was never fixed/added (with several with more like a dozen major issues)
(and thats just high tier)
Finish off with a new mechanic like CBUs or a round of something that is already in game but not widely distributed like ASMs and you’d probably add more to the game than any conventional update actually could.
Though Italy and Britain needed new SAMs a year ago
If I put Deathmisser is a male on there, does it be class as real because I am ?
I’m still hoping for map size increase, the current map rotation (with airspawn basically every match) makes the games last about 5 minutes at 14.0.
Its really annoying that they dont just make better use of the space available. and instead insist on only using parts of map and having everyone spawn in a 1kmx1km block in the sky
Like, with the Falklands map you could easily do this:
and dramatically increase the “size” of the maps, without changing a thing. (though still BS they made the falklands map at 1:2 scale)
You also have the Denmark ARB map which is again, cropped to be way smaller than the full map actually is
Twas dark times, and yet nowadays it’s back in the same state.
But yeah if they done a similar thing for this game it would be amazing, focus on fixing as many issues as possible instead of adding more and more vehicles with ever-expanding issues.
Couldn’t agree more, I actually ended up blacklisting Falklands as long as I had premium, with airspawn you basically just have time to get some altitude and then you need to hit the notch already.
Moving the spawns to furthest points of the map could definitely be a start.
Turbulence and cross winds simulations stuffed in an engine that is already stressed and spaghettified hm mh, totally genuine!
Yeah honestly the Falklands was such a disappointment. Could have added more AI ground targets and some ships in the center of the map to give a bit more variety to the map.
Yep and the fact it was the exact type of map most of the Sim community was hoping for as a new extra large ASB map, and instead they shrunk it and added as an ARB only map.
I cant beleive its officially 3 years since we’ve gotten a new ASB map (as of the next major update)
I suspect all effort for Sim went to Aces of Thunder, but seeing how that is turning out there wasn’t much effort then.
Yeah. I suppose we cant expect the 1 intern responsible for Sim to do all the work needed for sim AND AoT
I just saw that on our discord, I can 100% from the knowledge of a naval player is that list is fake.
USS Northampton CLC-1 would be the maus of the seas, a late WWII CA with post war 5" cannons?? (if it had more cannons it could work but these are single mounts).
Verniy is the Hibiki, the devs seem clear in not giving the same ships to other trees under different names, See no USS Prinz Eugen IX-300.
An the Hachijo would be a kick in the teeth given the current event ship, Ohh so here’s a clone of a current ship but ohh here’s a predecessing type that’s completely different (buuuut honestly I could see the devs doing that as a joke to the mode, already seen many).
The only one many would dream of is the cruiser Chōkai, a Takao class.
Inadvertently the HMS Javelin would be nice, a TT equivalent to the premium J class destroyer.
The k and n class are also js just a different flotilla letter
While true, they’re different layouts of armament built in the same batches, just with the letters being the starter letter for each ship (just like all British TBD/DD’s naming conventions until the Battle class iirc).
It would at least be an alternative to a premium if the speculation lists (my personal name for them) were true, yet they’re rarely such.
