Should be fine, what RWR did MiG-25 have, cause I know 25 didn’t have PD radar so it would likely be 12.0 range, and 12.7 for 31 since PESA can allow tracking with notch and u can attack multiple targets like ARH.

That would be fine, if SPO15. 10 is a bit… Could balance the ultra fast speed.
mig 31 only pulls max 5 g not enough to notch fast missiles
the MiG can go high enough so that 5g can evade a shot from low alt. max operating altitude of 25km
Not like F15Es need to pull more than that to dodge them, they are literally too slow to do anything about the F15E as long as they are not flying straight. NVM sth much faster and much higher.
So, with a new vehicle type coming in this year, there are a few possibilities.
- Submarines
- Scout Vehicles - like tanks, planes, ships
- Designated MLRS,
- Strategic Bombers.
My guesses are Sub-Marines, but who knows.

Mig-25PD would likely be ~10.3 with R-60s and R-40s, up to 6 missiles total with 2 being radar.
5 missiles with 3 being radar.
Mig-31 is leaps better though.
Issue is it being that fast sort of prevents it from being 10.3. I mean if with R60M it should be 11.3 at least given the radar guided missiles and all aspects. It will be hard to balance but I think 11.0 -11.7 is a good range with 60m.
It’s not fast though. It has a high top speed, but its acceleration will be slower than that of F-4C.
While having rather bad radar missiles to use against fighters.
The Mig-21Bis is superior to it, and that’s currently 11.0 with R-60Ms.
What would be the current use-case for these planes be?
The current state of the game wouldnt be suitable for these aircraft IMHO.
I was half expecting sth along the lines of mission oriented gamemodes where these things can intercept say enemy strategic bombers or recon aircraft.
nah, strategic bombers alone dont stand a chance.
and player controlled SPAA is just to boring.
High altitude BVR like the F-4C.
Of course the F-4C fires better missiles against fighter aircraft… marginally.
Both are decent at ambushing furballs as well.
Mig-31 though… that bird can work it.
I would say. Japan has gotten a Mig-25 from a deserter. Give Japan a Mig-25 to test its viability.
Also, give Ru a Kazaghstan Mig-25 and test from there.
If it doesnt work, dont add it to the TT.

Early and late(PD) MiG-25s are 2 completely different aircrafts if we are talking about WT
Early ones don’t have any close-range missiles, radar can’t see targets, that are close to the ground at all(no MTI mode), regular R-40s have crap-tier homing heads. It’s basically a slow(yes, it is slow. It is subsonic on all regular WT alts), heavy bus with 4 fast missiles. It won’t work at all.
PD can carry R-60(M)s, R-40Ds have homing heads from R-24s, it’s radar has MTI mode, it has IRST, RWR(yep, early ones don’t have it), engines are better
