I suspect all effort for Sim went to Aces of Thunder, but seeing how that is turning out there wasn’t much effort then.
Yeah. I suppose we cant expect the 1 intern responsible for Sim to do all the work needed for sim AND AoT
I just saw that on our discord, I can 100% from the knowledge of a naval player is that list is fake.
USS Northampton CLC-1 would be the maus of the seas, a late WWII CA with post war 5" cannons?? (if it had more cannons it could work but these are single mounts).
Verniy is the Hibiki, the devs seem clear in not giving the same ships to other trees under different names, See no USS Prinz Eugen IX-300.
An the Hachijo would be a kick in the teeth given the current event ship, Ohh so here’s a clone of a current ship but ohh here’s a predecessing type that’s completely different (buuuut honestly I could see the devs doing that as a joke to the mode, already seen many).
The only one many would dream of is the cruiser Chōkai, a Takao class.
Inadvertently the HMS Javelin would be nice, a TT equivalent to the premium J class destroyer.
The k and n class are also js just a different flotilla letter
While true, they’re different layouts of armament built in the same batches, just with the letters being the starter letter for each ship (just like all British TBD/DD’s naming conventions until the Battle class iirc).
It would at least be an alternative to a premium if the speculation lists (my personal name for them) were true, yet they’re rarely such.
This month 's Passed to the Devs series contains one vehicle which is in the files, unused: the J 35J
I think it’s project 30/31.
Id be pretty hype about type 62g tho tbh love the little mini t54
Actually that would be a possibility as well, yet what would seperate it from existing Project 30 destroyers? Are those single LAA guns above the aft 130 mm turret anything special? (37 mm, 45 mm or 57 mm. I know the latter was tested on a Egyptian Project 30, there’s a suggestion on the forum).
I always seem to miss another ship in my first quick research of these speculation lists.
Hang on, are those RBU-2500 afore of the bridge? that would cause some anger if given a low research placement in the TT & BR as well heh.
Looking at the passed stuff, PLEASE give the french monitor
Also super happy the S.R.A.1 got passed, hopefully it isn’t an event or pack
The current infrared missiles have a bug where they can be diverted by the missiles launched by the target. Could you please let me know when this issue will be fixed? It really impacts the gaming experience.

I can guarantee that developers do look at the suggestions we pass them, if they are implemented or not is up to them. However saying that does not stop any of the Devs from finding things in the suggested lists on their own. As many suggestions have been implemented without being past to the devs. Was in as a result of the suggestion or not who can say however they do look at suggestions.
Me waiting for the November sale so I can pick up a couple of more things :P
This to be honest.
Just like the Type 60 SPRG variants, or the STA-4.
Still so many unique options left, yet no one gets added, despite a lot of resources being available to create the vehicle for War Thunder.
Yeah but who wants to buy a premium vehicle without flares so they added the XS, they could just have pulled the F-5C treatment and given it flares that only the recon models carried.
Besides the XS is still missing its Falcon missiles and wingtip mounted R13M1’s
Why do you still play it, if you don’t like it?
Probably addiction and/or general military history/tanks/planes/boats autism (same for me tbh 5k hours in and I can’t recommend the game to anyone even though I love it.)
IMO steam reviews is not just about whether or not you “like” a game, but if you would recommend it to somebody.
My ability as a WT veteran of 10+ years to get enjoyment out of the game, stay afloat in the in-game economy and progress the tech tree is vastly different from that of a completely new player starting today.
So it’s entirely possible for a veteran player to have a good time in WT and at the same time not wanting to recommend the game for someone new.
Also, a quote from Phlydaily comes to mind… “War thunder, it’s almost fun”. I think many of us keep playing for the occasional moments that make the rest of the struggle worth it :)
Exactly this, if I hadn’t already been playing for a few years already I wouldn’t start playing now. The grind is absolutely horrendous.
I’m glad I started playing when I did, I grinded all the TT’s I wanted and now all I have to do is just keep up with one or two additions each update to each tree.
The game can be fun for sure, I especially love aircraft and play mostly for those in Sim and in VR and taking screenshots of the aircraft I love but starting out as a new player you couldn’t pay me to recommend it.
