B. War Thunder is a line-up-based game; no nation has a 1-1 line-up of another nation. There’s at least one vehicle and 3 prototypes of difference, but normally more.
Then play the F-18 its pretty good even in the meta tbh, its not the best but its usable. You’re agility lets you defend very well just use HMD to get lock on while defending
once you get toptier thats a majority of what people playy

Still cannot deny that Qatar not being split would make 8 tech trees largely irrelevant in top tier
yeah but it engines feel super underpowered its by far one of the weakest 14.0s in current meta as it cant gain speed to launch its missiles effectively
nowadays i chill from 9.3 to 13.0 as missile spam is boring

Id say go play a different nation, not every nation will fit your playstyle for the ever changing Meta, F-18 is still good for dogfights, or the Mirages ect ect. The US is still very good for every aspect of air imo. Well id hope considering i have their entire air tree lol.
Finland 1.7 has I can make a whole pure Finnish line up.

I mostly play customs and basically every custom is a dogfight custom close range knife fights with missiles i want something that can keep up with a eurofighter for more than 2 turns before stalling and the F15 QA would do that hence why i want it

F18 can keep up with the EFT in dogfights lol, i love the F18 because of that, i also love custom battles but we usually ban missiles.

F18C is the best for dogfighting of all the F/A-18’s in game

Yeah the FBW on advanced eagle does help a lot, also being new build, but it’s still an F-15E airframe it’s meant to move bombs from airbases to foreheads
