As we have already mentioned, this is a later MLU variant, not the version added to the game (which is historically accurate for the variant that it is).
As we also mentioned, the MLU with all those upgrades is planned to come.

Yesn’t.
In the sense that the Rafale is probably the best 1v1 with missiles jet, sure I would agree it’s the best. It’s kit mixed with its flight performance is pretty peak.
1v1 guns is probably the EF-2000, but it also has some slight advantages against the Rafale in EC just due to its speed and range of AIM-120s which makes it better for completing objectives.
Best EC jet by far IMO is the Su-30SM. What it lacks in overall flight performance is made up by the best kit for winning the match. It has by far the easiest time cleaning up objectives while also getting into the air quake with plenty of missiles left. In 1v1 with missiles I would also argue it is slightly stronger than the EF-2000 if played correctly.
All 3 are more than competitive in every category though, and that’s why I said arguably
Its not accurate. It shouldnt have IFF on radar either then. Yet it does. It also have wrong cockpit if late F/A-18,as always Gaijin made Frankenstein like many other tanks and planes before. If only we would get exact versions modelled instead of the early/late crap Gaijin uses to justify the inaccuracies.
I believe you and a few obscure autists care about that. There’s a reason why the forums were filled with people saying that it was bollocks that the Finnish Hornet was getting nothing, and the only people that were actually defending Gaijin’s decision were mainly the mods, game masters, and a couple of weirdos that were “aktshully” while completely ignoring the fact that America got three different F-18s at the same time.
The Finnish Hornet should have had GBUs and everything else, people were excited for another Swedish jet that could actually have CAS capabilities besides the Grippen. But nope, we got an underpowered Hornet because funny. It is severely unpopular amongst Swedish mains that we once again got screwed over with the F-18, and even though Gaijin “promised” to put in a new F-18 with the proper loadout, it should have been there on day one, and not be on another update that will cost 200-400k RP just to research.
Yeah yeah, we get it. Much historical accuracy in a game that doesn’t value balancing or historical accuracy. Fact is, it should have been there day one instead of a “promise” that they will actually implement it, forcing people to research 200k (if foldered) to 420k (if not) for the same exact plane, just with bombs this time, making us do additional 300k+ research just to have a plane that should have been there since the first F-18s came to the game.
If there are some issues, then they can be reported with the correct evidence and they they will be investigated.
It is however not an MLU and never was. It has the correct loadouts and equipment for the variant that it is.
So perfectly okay if American
Historically inaccurate if Swedish
I see how it is.
In terms of devblogs we propably have to wait at least a month.
Last year the first dev blog dropped on the 24th of may
In 2023 the fist dev blog for the may/june Update dropped on the 4th of may.
The next big thing we could expect are the upcoming BP vehicles and maybe the SEAD Event everyone is talking about.
yeah I’m asking for the SEAD event
Plus, who would have cared if the MLU2 came out instead of the MLU1. Absolutely no one. Almost nobody wants to run a pure fighter, why do you think the Chinese Mirage is rare at top tier: ground or air, meanwhile the French Mirage is a lot more popular? Because guess what, you get more uses out of it. Why do you think the game is spammed by F-18s, from 11.7-14.0? Because the American one offers more than generic F-18 that is more expensive to research.
And let’s take a look at CAS. People wanted a new CAS jet for Sweden, because Sweden suffers with CAS. Do not give me that bollocks that the AJS is somehow the best CAS jet, because you know that is a complete lie. The only good CAS Sweden gets is the JAS39, but even that gets neutered since you are giving up your best missiles to use CAS, compared to America and Russia who gets to keep their AIM 120s and R-77s WHILE using their AGMs and GBUs. People were excited for the F-18 since it would allow Sweden to get another CAS plane that wouldn’t suffer as terribly as the Grippen does. But guess what? They screwed Sweden and gave us the MLU1 because? A small minority would have cried that it isn’t accurate? Who cares? Seriously, no one would have noticed besides a fringe minority who believes this game is accurate to real life. And if you really wanted to roleplay with the MLU1? Just throw AIM 120s and AIM 9Ms on without the GBU. I assure you, there is absolutely no difference. There’s no difference besides payload, and if you really think there is somehow a massive difference between the two, you seriously need to get laid.
MLU1 didn’t come out it is a Pre MLU program F/A-18.
You should really read what people say.
The Finnish F-18C (in the Swedish tree) has all of its historically accurate weaponary. The additional weaponary came with later MLU variants, which are separate and as mentioned a couple of times now, are planned to come later.
As I mentioned, if you think something is inaccurate about it or incorrect, you can report that with the evidence to show what’s wrong.
We are not remotely close to dev season if that’s what your asking

What do you mean he is saying the F/A-18 Finnish is an MLU1 it is not.
HMS habakuk, you done need aircraft carrier mechanics, with her sheer size you can just sink them by ramming

Smin, kick the developers, they still haven’t fixed the camouflage bug on the Leo 2A4M, although the bug report was accepted 3 months ago. Please
