The servers really do not like working today it seems
Again, adding WW1 to War Thunder would require a major rework on the tech trees/BR and I don’t think they’re up for that currently (hell, they’re struggling with the servers just to run the event). Maybe in the future, but asking them to seriously commit to WW1 (during April Fools) currently is a big stretch.
I would be fine if they just made the current ww1 thing a permanent event.
If they can’t be integrated into the main game, I don’t think having it permanently in the event tab would be a bad thing.

I did and it was fun with the Mark V especially you have around 5 other Marks V around me, everyone was having a great time in chat.

Why do you think they modeled and added great war stuff for us to play while we are seemingly on the verge of the Aces of Thunder release and they are pointing towards that for anyone who wants to play the fighters after the event ends?
I find it funny and sad to see so many people fall for the bait and switch video yesterday.
War Thunder isn’t getting fully playable infantry in the foreseeable future, and please don’t be so gullible to believe an April Fools announcement using phrases like “beta”, “test”, “implementing” and “new tree”.

Im taking this as confirmation that there’ll be a dev blog at 0001hrs UTC0 Monday morning. I will throw salt at the nearest WT game server if there isn’t and make 42 posts and threads about the next event being delayed.
