Yeah most likely before a F-35 in that line we will get an upgraded F-16, personally I think it’s more likely going to be the Block 70 or 72 but the E would also be possible instead but ultimately either would fill that gap nicely in the future.

No, 70/72 is the F-16V.
USAF uses F-16C PoBIT which is C BLK 50 up to 70/72 standard, but with even better ECM suite
Luckily we know this is coming thanks to statements from CMCD4’s interview with BVVD and other statements from community managers. We just don’t know when this year it will come, but there will be new top anti-air for multiple nations.

I would like to see some more Ito (or better) equivalents, before we see multi vehicle SAMs, like G6-HVM some Spyder or the Barak and one of the countless Chinese options. May as well exhaust these options before going onto the more radical approach.

Gaijin likely doesn’t plan to add a later C model given the current Late and early status. Seems more likely they’ll skip it as itll have the same awful engines
They could give it LEGION pod and ofc the much better radar. As well as 120C to set it apart

Serious note i don’t see it being added, seems like a nightmare to balance with its horrible frame and engines with payload. Wouldn’t be crazy for gaijin to skip it.
Is the F-15C really that bad of an airframe? I mean I guess if they add the double AMRAAM CFT racks it’ll be pretty insane in payload
