any word on the aesa radar for the rafale? TWS is really lacking sometimes, and any news on the meteor? Surely that will never come, it would completely dominate top tier.
Based on the update notes on Steam I am guessing F-2 is coming soon?
It’s a shame last year I would have been excited. Earlier this year even. But now the top tier for Japan just… doesn’t feel that good to me. Or won’t.
I just really find it difficult to be excited when the other nations have already leapfrogged us AND will get even better hardware soon.

Yea but it would make a change. The M829A3 is designed to deal with T series tanks equipped with kontakt 5. Somthing that as we see at top tier the M829A2 struggles with. So why not give it to the M1 and put it on a level playing field. Russia has there best dart why not give the us its best?
The Meteor will more than likely come to the game when we get to the point where missiles like the PL-15, AIM-120D-3, R-77M, etc. can come with it.
We don’t even have the AIM-120C-5 yet, although it’s likely close to being added (even if it isn’t needed). And once the AIM-120C-5 comes to the game Gaijin should go about ungimping other missiles like the MICA and AAM-4.
After that whole debacle, we’re still not going to get Meteors for a long time. There’s no telling when the AIM-120C-7/8 would come to the game since there’s no equivalent to it that doesn’t woefully surpass it.
Once Gaijin figures out what to do with that (ie. gimp or ignore the 120C-7/8), then they can start looking at Meteor equivalents. Which, mind you, won’t be necessary at all until Gaijin fundamentally reworks Air RB and SB and the maps we have present. The maps are simply too small, and the gamemodes are simply not designed for 200km Fox-3s.
However, after ALL that, we can finally get to Meteor-equivalent missiles. These would include:
- AIM-120D-3, AIM-174B, and maybe even the AIM-260A
- MICA-NG
- R-77M and R-37M
- PL-15
I agree with most of that but Israel’s M60s and M48s are super fun. They are definitely different feeling compared to the American ones. For example you get a dm23 and 33 equivalent pretty early on plus towards the end you get dm63 105 which is fantastic. Where as the us M60s are stuck with M774(which they shouldn’t be using. It should be M833) which is more like DM23 and it’s kinda garbage at 9.0 not to mention the Israeli tanks get better engines and add on armor which does help a lot. Plus you don’t have that stupid raised coupola.

AIM-260 funny enough would be more of a counter part then the AIM-174
It would be hard not to, last battleships for almost any techtree are already in WTM so their hand is basically forced if they want to complete the TT 's here. But doing it like that was probably their plan anyway.
Same way w/ submarines and carriers, we’ve already seen how they’re model transferable between the games.

There me in the FCU manages to get 113K RP in 10 matches and even with no kills I get around 4,000 odd lol
