True and why I’m not sold yet haha. On one hand they usually use these CM posts to tease new (read: leaked and anticipated) vehicles but on the other, anticipated vehicles get some kind of hint like a “storm” or “sting”, etc

And with your F2 comparison the F-2 is just a bigger winged block 50 with an AESA

Given the new SPAA can we expect the Eldenhet 98 to be 11.7 given its max range being 8-12km vs the 625E having 17km range.
Again its nice to see new SPAA but unless the devs make the IRIS-T fictional it wont be competitive for the current environment given i can take the Ayit and nuke the Eldenhet any day of the week because i can attack from outside its range.
The SPAA again is nice but it seems like its not worth it given range is a huge problem with most sams in game. Again things can change and the snail could make it the best missile in game but given its real life info it seems like its added way too late as its been powercrept years before it was even considered to be added.

Not quite, it’s about 5% F-16 parts while the rest is new components. It’s also not based on the F-16, but the SX-3, which itself is a further development of the Agile Falcon.
For the visual changes mainly it’s a differently shaped wing that’s meant to carry higher loads and improve maneuverability over even the Agile Falcon design, larger elevators to improve pitch authority, an extended rear fuselage, a higher sitting three-piece canopy, larger flaps and slats as well as longer and wider LERX.
F-2 is to an F-16C-40 what a Super Hornet is to the YF-17, related, but very different.
