Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

the F-22 can’t even carry targetting equipment for a2g, and datalink is far from being a thing in warthunder… How would it use jdam?
Irl raptors need a buddy to aim for them

It has already used JDAMs, they are GPS Guided bombs. I believe its only combat deployment was actually Air to Ground missions with JDAMs.

U sure? I remember reading somewhere that it couldn’t aim a2g by itself
Also it destroyed chinese balloons too

I believe you are talking about Laser-guided bombs, which you are right about. It doesn’t have any targeting equipment so it relies on buddy-lasing to guide them.
However the JDAM is a GPS guided bomb and doesn’t need any input from the carry aircraft besides entering the coordinates at the start of the mission.

Oh alright, good to know

Don’t need laser for JDAM

It looks cool just because it is so big. Like the Mi-26

It’s a shame they never armed the Mi-26 or CH-53 with missiles lol

Yeah it’d be so nice to have armed heavy lift helicopters

They are forcing players to pay more, how am I the only anyone seeing this ?

Didnt the EU just pass some work to come into force next year explicitly because of this kind of practice lol. With a “best practice” in the short term to not do that?

I could be mistaken.

I hope so since I’ve noticed they are doing this a lot lately

Went on a google.

PRINCIPLE 3:
Practices that force consumers to purchase unwanted in-game virtual
currency should be avoided
The legal basis for this principle is Articles 5, 8 and 9 of the UCPD.
Traders should not engage in practices distorting the economic behavior of consumers by designing video
games in ways that force the consumers to spend more real-world money on in-game currency than they
need to buy the selected in-game content or services

Practices to avoid:
Offering in-game virtual currencies only in bundles mismatching the value of purchasable
in-game digital content and services
Denying consumers the possibility to choose the specific amount of in-game virtual curren-
cy to be purchased

I very much enjoy WT, and would enjoy it more if it would follow the principles the EU have put forward as part of the Consumer Protection Cooperation Network.

I’m guessing this here : “Offering in-game virtual currencies only in bundles mismatching the value of purchasable in-game digital content and services” means that they can’t do what I’ve been pointing out ?

Not a lawyer, but I would say they rather companies not do that.

TEC made a video covering it a bit.

Yeah, I think we should also have an option of removing GE and premium time to a packs as well for it to became cheaper.

What do you guys feel about alll the missed mid cold war aircraft? Like the F106 and F102? It seems gaijin rushed the phantoms and forgot about the others.

For me not bothered and as for gaijin I think we all should know their motives by now
