Generally no. Not every aircraft has a suitable alternative.

To my knowledge its aways been a B in game, its not historic to my knowledge but there was mentions of an upgraded seeker and maybe gaijin has more on it than I do
Regardless its a moot point since RB75T was only added when AGM 65G was added and only for the Gripen. How many months did it take for the AJ’s to get RB75T?
It has the same seeker as a AGM 65A when it was first added it would often head straight for the target and in the last second go in a random direction and miss.
There was never a goal to “screw over Sweden”. The changes were made clear during the dev server. The goal was to provide both Britian and Sweden a competitive new jet. Something they both equally needed and something they both ultimately received.
I would recommend toning things down a bit.

Is it possible to suggest a name change on already existing aircraft that fit the bill better and is better for the game in the long term with more being added?
The idea being both Swedish gripens be the A, just one is the A early/late therefore making it more accurate by designation and better for the dev team to add more in the future
So why add the Gripen A in a late 2012 config when you could’ve added it in a mid 90’s config and had sweden a actual competitive and historical gripen A? Also why does gaijin actively avoid adding a correct MS to the Gripens why have a bunch of fake Frankenstein Gripens that have never existed?
The B does that as well
If it can be supported by documentation / sources of some kind, sure. However some may be a game convention (for example if multiple variants of the same specific sub type are not planned).
Yup. Brimstone 2s limited to sal only until a better form of quantity mitigation would be far fairer for both the Gr4 and Typhoons

How would i go about changing this? Suggestion category?
Gripen A was already a fully competitive (if not one of the most competitive along with the C) jets in the game when it launched and for some time after.
Would love to get the Jaguar Gr1A fully converted to the Gr1B for the RWR and the Hunter F6 to the Hunter F6A for the drag chute.

Yes because the FM was broken beyond belief, i could flip upside and take off, very realistic. Given how many nerfs its received how is it any different than a F16A if given the same missiles and just internal CM’s without HMD?
