I’ve got an even better question: Why do the Saab 105G/OE and the US F-84F deserve to keep their airspawns when all the other strike planes at or above 8.3 lost their airspawns?
Aye, I suppose that’s fair. I’m not thinking the Gaijin way. Asinine tech trees and battle ratings are their specialty, I could never hope to match them.

Rank, what would you put in place of the saabs for their rank? Move the saabs down in rank makes them completely irrelevant considering they are the worst striker fighters since they are a trainer aircraft. Move their effective research down would make them essentially more irrelevant to air players than they already are.
(If you lose in a fighter to a 105 or SK60 its a severe case of skill issue)
That’s the thing. The rank shouldn’t determine wether or not a plane deserves an airspawn.
The US F-84F gets an airspawn, but all the other F-84Fs don’t.
The Vautour IIN (Late) gets an airspawn because it is the only aircraft in the game designated as a Jet Fighter/Interceptor (it even gets a unique colour for its marker, symbol and designation), but the bomber Vautours have to take off from the airfield.
The Buccaneer S.1, which struggles to even take off from the airfield when it is loaded can’t get an airspawn either, just because it is above rank 5.
They really should rethink the way they distribute airspawns and maybe give more planes the Jet Interceptor designation while they are at it.

Tbf if you have played it it suffers from being slower than F84 so getting to a base to do your main job is almost impossible additionally you aren’t good at fighting or running away. Its essentially got one strong point imo its not worth playing for air considering id rather play literally anything but tonado part 2 but worse.
Ill add though i dont agree with the system to remove rank considering the many other bombers that get screwed over and the system needs to be reworked entirely.

It’s definitely not always the last ones, from my experience it usually happens to the 6th and 7th ones
This Thought should also be applide for the spotting feature.
This one Bugs me especially since its litterally named “Aufklärungspanzer 38(t)” (Reconnaissance Tank 38(t)), yet it cant do what its supposed to do

I have the Saab 105OE and use it for bomber hunting and I can imagine the Saab 105G and especially the Sk60 needing the airspawns, but again, rank shouldn’t determine wether or not a plane gets airspawn.
It should be based on the planes general specs and performance.

I will never understand why scouting isn’t a thing in rank 1.
Sure, some of the light tanks are medium tanks really, but at least let the scouting vehicles do scouting lol

You do get thats why the 105 has stayed at its BR. Its a decent base bomber when a Mig 15 or F86 dont just nuke you because they run circles around you but its why the 105 isnt 8.0 in air. Theres a reason we haven’t seen the 105J since gaijin wouldn’t be able to balance it despite it being a vital CAS jet for the nation.
Also follows a trend of 90% of swedish aircraft having their armament nerfed to high hell

I’ve said this before and I’ll probably end up repeating this until the game gets shut down, but they should stop adjusting the BRs of bombers and strike aircraft that are just bombers in disguise based on their earnings.
They have a tool to balance those earnings, but instead of adjusting the reward multipliers they just over-BR the bombers and attackers
