Seeing as WT has a lot of gambling and basically its own captive crypto market it should be an 18+ game.
I do also think merging the two games together will help the staleness of WT while getting Enlisted off of the borderline of being a dying game

That 's related to submarines imo. The control scheme is similar to the one used in Battle of the Atlantic.

Ok, suppose the age ratings thing was out of the question, how the heck would they merge WT and Enlisted and what about the April Fools event makes you think that they would attempt to merge the two games?

Enlisted is on life support and merging the two games would be the best Outcome for enlisted instead of just Being thrown in the trash including all development time and players invested time and money

same engine, same assets and core structure. Enlisteds soldier combat is a very solid base and infantry can deal with tanks quite well.
enlisted is not really doing too good after the disastrous steam launch, yes most of the playerbase uses the client but its still bleak sign so have an all time peak being just over a tenth of the average WT online numbers.
Theres a lot of good stuff in Enlisted which could be wasted without a merge. a merge would also bring a lot of WT players into playing infantry while bringing in a lot more players overall. have separate gamemodes but a combined mode of tankers pilots and soldiers would be able to take on battlefield and probably beat it out nowadays

Enlisted has already adopted a lot of WT standards after 2.0
there a BR system and everything now, it would be a lot of work for balancing but is a possibility that a lot of people did give a very positive reaction to for a potential future
Nothing is going to be wasted. WT is better without FPS infantry. The trailer was strictly for April fools we can forget about FPS infantry in WT and move on to speculation about the next major update which is the topic we are discussing in.
the possibility of infantry being here one day is a speculation.
seeing WT evolve into a battlefield with realistic feeling vehicles is something id love to see too.

Not to be that guy, but 4.9k players 24-hour peak on Steam isn’t bad at all for the kind of game that Enlisted is.
It’s also a much higher peak than what player counts Star Conflict, Crossout and CRSED are getting on average.
Gaijin testing AI infantry in this event definitely is not an indicator of them trying to merge the two games. Integrating AI infantry is nothing like integrating player controlled infantry.

I hope there will be seperate modes but given how long people have been Fighting for a ground Only mode I can see infantry becoming the new cas/drones

Well at least tanks are decently equipped to deal with infantry compared to how good the avg tank is against drones/Helis and modern planes

I honestly still have no idea what CRSED, Crossout or Star conflict are and those games have been around for quite some time (I think)
If AI infantry goes well I do hope to see player controlled units arriving at some point. Being able to have a mate in the back of a bradley or warrior to deploy at an objective would be super cool.

Yes but then I watch the Trailer and don’t know if I should laugh cry or just be confused given how it shows Modern infantry and even rifle sight’s which would make no sense for ai
Could just be for dramatic Effect but that doesn’t connect with the mentioning of a tech Tree
