My last 2 spawn as St chamond was pressing Z for 10s before getting OS by some A7V right after leaving the 10meter spawn.
The Renault FT would get slammed even harder than any Entente tank atm
No armor, 3 crew and what is already known as the worst tank gun in-game, but with even worse shells

Gotta find the rat spot behind the building on the left spawn and snipe. Back off and wait for the clueless A7V players to give full side and slowly take them apart.
An event more focused on that then, mixt of Renault FT and infantery would be nice.
Gaijin love to say that France is not enough iconic for a lot of event or else regulary, and when they got a goddamn WWI event, France is in the shadow: German/Uk navy battles, German OP tank (20 were built IRL), German helmet to unlock, German PP to unlock, German and UK loading screen…

Pilot view in hanger = Done it works.
WW1 tech = done it works.
Aces of thunder is just an paid version of sim VR but yeah if WW1 was the selling point then sorry guys IL-2 Flying cirrus has beaten you by a long shot lol.
Though I hope your right that we could see WW1 soon after AoT release

My argument are the lines before.
Told me where i am wrong in my examples where the majority of fanservice stuff to unlock is for Germany/UK, but mainly Germany.
Doubt, that would bring even less people/money in AoT i think if they put the stuff in the main game after.
Personally, I think the Reason(s) why the A7V is as good as it is, is because it has 18 crew, and its cannon is pretty competent. The St-Chamond is probably the best for the Entente due to its cannon being good, and it has a better chance at penning the A7V.
Meanwhile my first tank I got out of the event was the Mark V so I cant complain, one step closer to a WW1 lineup with the Swordfish (literally just wood and cloth), now just need the H.P.12

If that true then why are they tapping into a market a competitor has already done and is 1,000 time more better lol. I mean tell my why should I play a VR only sim where I need to not only get a VR set but also get the game and rank lol
For less I can get at least two modules from the flying circus series.

The frontal armor isnt a problem despite what many people claim, it’s exactly this. It sometimes tanks side shots like crazy and I dont know why.
Maybe there is a metal plate in the tank which blocks spall?! Maybe I get the A7V today so I can confirm that

Tbf the crew is very spaced out if you compare it to everyone else. St. Charmond is horrible tight and one shot nukes the crew. A7V has 2 compartments in the main hull with the driver/commander area being a 3rd compartment. Additionally many cant pen the A7V outside the “exterior” compartment which only has the driver and gunner. The landship has its ammo in the gun which is easy to exploit. St. Charmond has really tight crew space. And the Garford has no pen and gets stuck because the mud is an inch high.
The A7V is the best of all the worlds, spaced crew, punchy gun, fast reload, strong frontal armor (compared to every other tank in the event.)
The mark 4 and 5 with 3 second per gun (compared to the 4 second of the A7V) would be better if it wasnt so weird to change the gun sight and could dish out a lot more.
After the reload nerf of the A7V they should limit the spawn to only one (instead of 2) to bring more balance.
Reload nerf again would be possible aswell I just hope they would revert it to 3s again after the event to make it viable in normal mode
Honestly, my first 2/3 games i was in German side (didn’t know where to change).
I was among the top, gettin 4+ kills, without dying.
Then i changed for Entente, and now if i make a kill every 2 game i am happy, i’m getting OS everytime i show myself, can’t even have the time to aim.
And it’s crazy if i see one flag going blue.
Clearly it’s unfair and totally unbalanced.

Get it during sales it comes down to £16, they have sales most of the year but tbh 8 highly detailed aircraft for £10 each isn’t that bad.
