Wrong, it could carry As and Bs, up to 4 in the large bays. The point of the Cs was to carry more (6 instead of 4)
I mean, giving it early C missiles would be the same as giving it As/Bs, just that it could carry 2 more (if what you are saying is true anyways).
The Cs would only really differ from the As/Bs in-game if Gaijin goes straight for C-5s or even later ones, which they shouldn’t in case of an early F-22A.
they all have slightly reduced drag from being clipped wing. But won’t have a huge effect. Maybe get a few km farther
I am quite liking F/A-18C; having 10x AMRAAMs is just… something else.
It is tediously slow, but that’s not so bad for me, hahah.
So I am looking forward to F/A-18E, which would have even more (+2) AMRAAMs.
True. Only reason I highlighted the US is b3cause every time someone asks for a top tier ground vehicle for them, a lot of people just respond “hurr durr you just got 3763874 new high tier planes, just be happy”.
maybe even less maneuverable because smaller wings
idk, i heard they did something to counteract that but not sure
AIM-120B replace with AIM-120C-5, AIM-9X (Blk I) instead AIM-9L and add AIM-120C-7 after expand max BR to 14.7 or 15.0 in the future
Another guided Air-to-Ground munitions no AGM-84K SLAM-ER, AGM-154C JSOW and GBU-12F/B dual mode laser guided bomb (DMLGB)
F/A-18E early (Block I) early 2000’s era (2001 ~ Q2 2003) unlike F/A-18E (Block II) 2018 ~ 2020
no HMD alert
Eh, it’s an AMRAAM bus, it would be fine without HMD and/or HMS
Not really, they got JHMCS in 2003
not many reasons to play what is basically an f18c late with 2 extra amraams but slower and less maneuverable and no hmd and with the same radar (an f18e block1 with or without hmd is basically a worse f18c late until you get to fire the 2 extra 120s assuming you even manage to survive to that point)
Indeed! The high AoA capability is my favorite thing about the Hornet, and let’s be honest…Square Intakes look way better than round ones…
guys take a look at this
i think only UK and USA can have super hornet
the only operators of Super Hornet are USA, Australia, Kuwait
Oh no my alts talking lmao
/joke disclaimer for the moderates
Neither Australia nor Kuwait are British subtrees. Only the US tech tree has a justification for getting a Super Hornet.
Explain how Britain got 14 Aussie tech and how the US only got 1.
Explain how Canadian tech is split between 3 nations.
UK surely will get Australian super hornet
Germany will get swiss f-18 too :)
F/A-18E (early) Block I in the early enduring freedom & iraq freedom era (2001 ~ 2002) pre retrofitted JHMCS and AIM-9X (Block 1)
F/A-18E late (Block II) equipped JHMCS, and JHMCS II for Block III
F/A-18E Block I not modern guided Air-to-Ground munitions
