ir signature, BOL and energy regeneration at medium speeds will fix it and make it a very formidable fighter

i want too see ONLY that move down to 12.7 since its single advantage right now is its aim120, which it cant even use in BVR because its too slow. you replace the guns TOO to take them… truly the plane of all time
or they could decompress 13.0-14.0 → 13.0-14.7 and leave it as the only AHR at 13.0

I think the Hawk 200 (Late) could come with 9M’s in place of ASRAAM for the time being. Would put it pretty much on-par with the AV-8B+ for ARB. Then once we get more advanced IR missiles like ASRAAM then put it on the Hawk 200 (Late) and put the BR up as needed.
2+4 and a gun. I’d gladly take a smaller F-16 radar and additional weapons over the Blue Vixen, as the better radar performance usually ends up being worthless.
plus its low speed dogfight capability will be UNMATCHED. nobody can beat you if they stick the fight. and if they run away an aim9M would be waiting

Perhaps but unlike the FA2 or AV-8B+. I dont think the Hawk would climb as well. Would limit the AMRAAMs a lot more. So its a balancing act.
If you climb in the FA.2 in ARB you are fricken dead, mate
Not been an issue for me. Would be nice if BOL worked correctly. But can BVR fairly well in it.

I must be doing something wrong then, because I always end up being a sitting duck.
The lack of speed means most of my AMRAAMs don’t get to the enemy before they get annihilated by my teammates’ missiles and the lack of other weapons and flight performance means that I usually cannot defend myself either.
Personally?
- Gnat/Ajeet at 9.0
- Hawk T1 at 9.3 maybe with SRAAM
- Hawk Mk120 LIFT of the SAAF at 10.7/11.0 (Can easily cosplay as the RAF Mk.128s, RAAF Mk.127s, & Indian Air Force Mk.132s. Though arguably for sim the BAE Mk.132 improved would be the better option, nicer cockpit, with a better HUD) Need some better SAAF representation :P

The only real issue is not all Hawk’s have CMs, hence me going for the SAAF Hawk 120 as it defiantly has them
You have to play insanely defensively, deliberately staying at the back of the pack and looking for people in bad spots.
Its hard work, but the FA2’s decent climb rate means you can at least get some height behind your missiles. Though I havent played in ARB in it in a a few months. Usually I play it in ASB where I dont have to worry about the full uptiers.
SRAAMs would put it at a guaranteed BR of 9.7
Hoping it oculd be a SRAAM+CM combo and could be a little higher

Sure, in ASB it’s fine, but the FA.2 has literally nothing to offer in ARB and staying behind just causes you to usually not get any kills, because as I mentioned, everyone else gets their missiles to the enemy first
