Actually, it depends on the language. In Germany we call MBTs “KampfPANZER”, IFVs “SchützenPANZER” and SPAA is called " FlugabwehrkanonenPANZER". So in German everything is a tank

the ground belts as example cost additional spawn points, many might actualy forget that

a SPAA is generated with 70 SP (±)… you know fighters require much more. Also, the lack of capabilities to reduce the SP cost of vehicles, is found in almost all BR’s… Israel really needs a damn SPAA and more LT.

War Thunder considers IFVs to be light tanks, and that’s how they are played in game. So there is a distinction to be made between what functions as a light tank, and SPAAs where you spend 90% of your time sitting around doing nothing.
SPAA are nice to have but the majority of play time is spent playing tanks, of which Russia has received none in the TT since last year.
lol, Russian players really live rent free in your head, don’t they? I’m not Russian, nor a Russian main, but I do play Russia and care about the content it receives. Just like all 9 other nations.

How is that a skill issue? If there are no planes up, you have nothing to do, and if those CAS players are skilled they can easily avoid even the best SPAA systems.

OSA has a minimum engagement range of several hundred meters so it can’t be played as a TD, and the Shilkas are slow and unarmored with weak penetration.
The Luchs is fast and is meant to be played as a light tank, like the Type 87 RCV (P) or XM800T.
Sure, as long as one is a Hydra or the Sabra. And while we’re at it I’ll have Gaijin throw in a Freccia and Centauro :)
