Wouldn’t the C be better than the D for air to air combat though?
I cant imagine it would lose that much agility and fly like a tornado but i guess we will see.

Way more pylons and i would have to assume a much higher thrust to weight to carry the extra ordinance.
AFAIK Spitfire griffon doesn’t got hispano mkV because skin has board number of one which was equipped with MkII.
blud I don’t think you know much about F15s, the F15C is the pure air superiority variant. F15E is strike variant. F15D is a double seated variant.
I mean the French and Nukes are wacky. See Force Dissuasion or whatever its called.

I do but I would personally like the E or the D I prefer the extra ordinance that I could put on.
No F-15 will ever fly as badly as a tornado and I will bet on that.

you said on par with the SU27, the F15E would honestly get whacked at everything that is not a BVR engagement. The F15C is the best of all worlds.

Yeah until we see some more f15’s ill hold my opinion that they are easily the 2nd best jet in the current furball meta for air.

the one that carried is an su27sm3 apparently, That matters a lot actualy
The Su-27SM was the variant they mounted the TGP to in those images, if you check the dates on the sources, it can kinda confirm this.
