It’s not a thing anymore, since September update where we moved some premiums up a rank to make it more consistent with regular tech-tree equivalents. The only rule is “no max BR”.

How come the F20 has gotten a different treatment than the Yak41? Why should the F20 be a premium when the Yak isn’t?

“Having said this, we do not plan to add premium vehicles that have a maximum Battle Rating”
We have already explained the reasons why a 6th line is not possible for Tech trees currently. And besides that, we don’t need a 6th line to add British light tanks.
