It 's not magic, it 's AMRAAM. That 's what will make Gripen C different from Gripen A - one will have them, and the other won’t.

they didn’t drop the C be cause it would be a copy paste A, what makes you think they’re gonna drop A with amraams? if they did when the C comes what difference would it introduce, just a gripen with slightly better amraams then the previouse one?

The A can have AMRAAMs too just not the last versions of the missile, so they will just add a copy paste A, stating that is “a more advanced A” (smth very new to gaijin indeed) and drop it for 410K RP after the A without AMRAAMs.

I am actually sort of expecting it to be added as another F-15J with full weapon loadouts of AAM-4B and AAM-5(B), while keeping the regular MSIP lower with only AAM-4 and AAM-3.

why would they add AMRAAMs to both
it makes no sense
for the same reasons that F15C will be in the next update WITH its 120Bs and the F15E will come in summer with the 120Cs
they could without much issue make an “early” JAS39A without AIM9M and without HMD and a worse radar, add the B variant as a striker, change the current JAS39A to a “late” variant as it is now, add a JAS39A “NATO” with AIM120 and IRIS-T, add the JAS39C (early and late), add the JAS39D as a striker, ad JAS39E with all its upgrades.

even tho F15C can carry 120Cs thats simply how they will probably balance everything at the start

bro smin said that the gripen C will NOT COME BE CAUSE IT WOULDN’T BE UNIQUE IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM FROM THE GRIPEN A, WHICH MEANS IT WON’T GET IT’S AMRAAM. people used their common sense and concluded that AMRAAMS WON’T EVEN COME next update.
