Given BVVD said most likely one of the first two patches and more likely to be the second with some hefty hedging as they were (and probably are) in development some of y’all are setting yourself up for disappointment if you still expect that stuff this patch

F-15C use Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-200 engine, CFT with addition hardpoint MRAAM
I guess conformal fuel tanks (CFTs) can install or uninstall in modification at tier I or tier II

There is the potential for CFT but they put a pretty big performance hit on the aircraft that I don’t see as worth it in the current meta for a couple more missiles…unless the devs find a way to make the maps significantly larger where the fuel would be used.
From a historical aspect, F-15A/Cs (can’t remember the exact model) used CFT up north around the Arctic for long range patrol.
Gaijin’s going to put AARHs on a number of existing aircraft.
This has been known for quite some time.
F-15C/Typhoon are too soon.

We think a new nation will come, this update based on everything else we know.
But due to other factors, we’ve changed what nation we think is likely recently.
Why ? The hardpoint/droptanks on the Mirage 4000 are available stock, it 's just the additional weapons which can be carried on them which are researched separately. No reason to expect CFT 's to work differently.
I actually wouldn’t be suprised if we don’t have to wait too long for this one. Seems like an extremely hypable amraam carrier for the amraam update.

The devs have almost 40 years of updates and blocks to work with on the F-15C. I agree we could very well see an early and late model with it.

Since CFT can’t be jettisoned in flight, I could see it as an upgrade like add on armor, similar to how oom is describing.
last time they didnt show anything for Japan. They said they werent sure if the vehicle was finished on time.
That happend multiple times, thats how neglected Japan is.
So i think we just see a yellow line at the newest vehicle added for JP, if they get something.
Too powerful for the update, just as Typhoon is.
