i feel like theyve been sitting on the buk for a bit now with how more ready it seems to be compared to the samp and sabre. almost as if they meant for it to go last patch together with the rest but couldnt finish the other two in time so they just put it in this one so they could say they didnt leave out the minor nations last update

Would rather have it with so we can have a semi decent top tier light tank
I want both. One for our 10.3/10.7 line-up which is really solid but lacking a really good gun-based IFV and another for 11.0 to support the top tier line-up

I’m still wondering what the 9M317MA is. Does it actually exist? I’ve only heard of the 9M317A that was being tested on the Buk 1-2.
as far as i know gaijin just grabbed the 9M317M, saw the fact theres two seeker heads for it (SARH and ARH)
slapped the ARH head onto it, called it MA according to russian naming schemes, and called it a day.
so technically it exists. but no one really knows how or where or when, etc
especially because the missiles are visually pretty much identical
someone on the forum did get the ER to mach 5 with the recent speed limit fix on the dev a few days ago
so we’re getting a F-16AJ situation, where they just slap a random designation on and poof
ah, i havent tried it since the speed limit fix. ill have to do it again. curious what the fakour can do now lol

its a name for something that exists (but god knows in what numbers) which doesnt officially have a real name (known) yet even though we can make an informed guess on waht said name would be so thats exactly what they did.
this is probably going to happen more and more as we get further into current day equipment
also for those who know better than me. im trying to make some rough estimates on how these missiles compare to eachother but that does mean i need to make some custom ones for statshark.
came across that. its not listed in the config file for as far as i can find. tf do i do with it

MA was apparently test fired at least once from what I have been told in the forums, but I don’t know if it’s actually true.
I just noticed that the Buk’s missiles are the only ARH missiles in the game that aren’t I band. Does that change the missile’s guidance in any noticeable way?
