Buk is actually bad, the proxy of the missile turns off at 50m, so you can multipath it without problem.
Having flown the new SRAAM for a while, I can say that an honest assessment would not be “IMBA”, but “acceptable level”. Yes, sometimes the missile can intercept the target by making an unrealistic turn. But this is more likely every twentieth launch. Sometimes it swings itself and goes into a spin even in a straight flight. The missile is critically limited by the platforms that carry it. Neither Hunter nor Harrier are platforms that can quickly turn around and send a missile to the target. Quite the opposite.
nope
australia never upgraded the engines on their F-18’s
Is it at mach 1.5 now or stuck at 300 something m/s
Interesting, it looks like there will be primarily WW2, cold war, and very modern infantry based on the weapons listed
340m/s I could have sworn JAGM was mach 1 when i looked at it. hopefully they fix that when it goes live
i wish gaijin gave modern missiles their real multipath altitude
on that day millions of lvl 10s will cry out in despair and suddenly silence
I hope they reduce and remove it, its just teaching players bad habits
Most level 10s are already a free kill anyway because they think multipathing is some sort of force field.
F-4S players vs braincell: multipathing edition
Apparently the SM2 is still not fitted with the proposed new engines yet.
sth sth warheads on foreheads
Anyone have info on how the Oplot or stingray are on the dev server?
they evolved into a different Navy jet:
the F/A-18C early
Oplot is still heavily WIP, none of the hull composites and ERA has any protection values yet iirc.
Thank you for the info!
yeah and with at least the meta for the EFTs is to stay near the battlefield as most new SAMs have pretty big dead zones and the SACLOS ones take a good bit of skill and reaction time to hit a target that close
which the CAMM should have a pretty small dead zone as it has thrust vectoring on launch to get an immediate angle on the target
MP is useful if they are not very far above you or have a top down view of you. I stay below 30m for best results
I thought in that promotional video Sukhoi released on the Su-30 a bit ago it showed them with the new engines. It was in Russian but the captions were pretty much correct to the best of my knowledge.
do you have a link to the vid?
or atleast the channel it was uploaded to
