Furthermore, Gaijin’s design approach to data fitting is ridiculous. The Buk M3 missile’s CXK drag is only 0.825, compared to the SLM’s 1.025. This data is explained by Gaijin setting the weapon’s parameters to achieve their desired stats.

The CM502, a missile with a HE warhead, mistakenly used the HEAT warhead code for its overpressure code, limiting the overpressure ball to a range of 0.3. This range is even lower than that of the AKD-10, which uses a HEAT warhead and has a significantly lower charge than the CM502. The AKD-10 has a range of 0.35.

Got this gem today reporting the Aim-120B for the F-16I which was known to use it:
A little elaboration would be nice, rather than just saying not a bug. The F-16I should get the Aim-120B to help the stock grind, there’s no reason to omit this weapon. Any tech mods or CMs here willing or able to re-review this for me, I’d really appreciate it.

This should be able to be passed as a suggestion without issue. The IAF operated the Aim-120B as its first ARH AAM, and in the 2000s began operating the Aim-120C-5, followed by the C-7 and C-8. It’s already found on the F-15I ingame too, shouldn’t be an issue in that regard. It’s historical, and logical, as its only ARH AAM available to it is in the final tier of modifications. Not to mention with the state the Aim-120C-5 is in, it’s kinda better to use Aim-120Bs.

Its not about it being lighter. KA-52 could carry up to 16 Hermes-A missile. And Hermes are like 5kg heavy than the LMUR.
Lmur wasn’t really intended for Anti tank role. Was like something to use against Fortifications or terrorist. That its why it warhead its not HEAT.
But right now Hermes is in limbo territory. After it was tested. They started a new project Klevok-D2 Missile | Secret Projects Forum. That its sometime called Hermes 2.
For real though, how does a fat af missile have less drag than an IRIS-T lol.

Has anyone written a report about the possibility of carrying 16 JAGMs on an AH-64E? Currently, only 8 can be carried.

It’s a balancing decision.
Both the Mi-28NM and Z-10ME also only have 8 F&F ATGMs. Hell it’s the same for every F&F heli except for the AH-60.

Hell it’s pretty obvious what happens when, things that conflict with the intended narrative pop up inconveniently.

Seems like this should have gone to the dev’s for review at very least, instead of being up to the Technical moderator to shut down.
While I have questions on the NIR lock range. I don’t have any evidence of it not being capable of it. All test of the JAGM-MR have been ground launch so all the long range shots are all LOAL. This also means the 16km range is from ground launch and would be increased from an aircraft. But there is not enough information to make any reports on this matter so I will leave Gaijin to their creative liberties as I can’t find much to argue it.

I’d still feel better about it if it was at least looked at by the devs before being rejected, as we then know they have this in mind, instead of failing at the first hurdle.
