But super hornet very good addition
Eh I would much much rather have the SEPv3 over another 14.0 fodder aircraft.
The US air tree is doing well enough, Gaijin needs to give the good multi nation players a reason to come back to top tier US ground, which will only happen with the SEPv3 likely.
If we get block 2 (and we should) it’ll have the best radar in game probably. And JSOW ideally
Gaijin will never do this.
Assuming they model the AESA stuff and not just make it a slightly faster scanning normal radar like on the Rafale.
Also massive doubt on the JSOW.
EDIT: I don’t really care about more cas options, it has already been proven that more cas won’t change anything to top tier US winrates.
Rhino my beloved
For Air and C*S players, that may be- but us Ground players haven’t got anything since December 2023… and, if we talk about America specifically, pretty much since 2019; since every Abrams variant that has come ever since has been identical because they haven’t had their improvements modelled (SEP and SEPv2 turret armor improvements) and implemented with the same general modelling issues (turret rings, fuel tank bulkeads…)
That’s why I look forward to M1A2 SEPv3 so much; both as an all-nation Ground player, and as someone who would like to actually have a reason to go back to play America.
Feels like Japan players are gonna riot if there is no F-2 this update. At least, I know I am.
I am I will probably finish up the R2Y and after that take a long break and not resub my premium time.
It’s been literal years since F-16AJ. Well, 2 years next month. Should have just been something like an “F-2 Experimental”
Not necessary. The Rafale has a tiny AESA radar compared to American ones, the 79 will blow it out of the water no matter what
You mean top tier/MBT players. Because I got a bunch of stuff in the last half of the year, last year.
As I got something for the US last September update that I really enjoy. (Technically last updated also counts but I find HE tanks hard to play)
T77E1? Idk
Might be F/A-18A (late production) desert storm era but pre AIM-120 AMRAAM ?
F/A-18E (early) (Block I standard) outfitted AN/APG-73 RUG II radar, and equipped JHMCS & AIM-9X (Block I) like F/A-18C/D in late 2000’s from Iraq Freedom era
F/A-18E (early) might be Block I and BR 14.0+ if with JHMCS, AIM-120C-5
Top Tier, in general.
All we’ve got in 2024 is; Leopard 2A7HU, HQ17, and Namer Tsrikhon, if you want to count it as Top Tier.
That’s 1 MBT, 1 SAM, and 1 IFV. Meanwhile, air has got like five billion Top Tier jets hahah.
Oh, that too. (I hate it went to 4.0, made my 3.7 line-up really nice)
But I was thinking of this: T1E1 (90) | War Thunder Wiki
That’s a pretty cool one, never a fan of the chassis though
What is the cutoff though for top tier? Rank VIII or 11.3?
We did get a bunch of 10.7-11.0 rank VII IFVs, but not sure if you count those as top tier.
Maybe more helicopters and drones for ground, since they cannot be played in pvp air modes
XQ-158 and MV-22 with AGM-176 would be amazing
And with the Harry Hopkins rumoured for this update might be the 4th update in a row I have stuff to look forward to as a WW2 ground player.
In my opinion, true Top Tier would be Rank VIII + 11.7 onwards, even 11.3 when it’s end of the line vehicles, like HQ17 and Namer Tsrikhon.
Basically, I call Top Tier to vehicles that would intentionally be put on Top BR lineups. You would intentionally put 11.7s and even 11.3s on a 12.0 lineup; but anything below that… wouldn’t count it as Top Tier, but High Tier instead.
In general, I would say, roughly:
1.0 - 4.7: low tier.
5.0 - 6.3: mid tier.
6.7 - 8.7: mid-high tier.
9.0 - 11.0: high tier.
11.3 - 12.0: top tier.
