Yeah, for gameplay reasons I can’t see IR seekers becoming too much of a problem, after all I think what we’re all most looking forward to with new IR missiles is the flight performance of them, obviously the better seeker will be nice too, but I for one don’t really care if it’s not 100% accurate, so long as it’s good enough I can get kills with it, but not so good I can’t defend against it, I’ll be happy.
I just want an IR missile that I don’t feel is a waste of wing space

Yes, I have. There is nothing supporting the addition of an ADATS to the Japanese tech tree, however there are plenty of factors supporting its addition to the British and American tech trees.
The same goes for the OSA in the German, Soviet, British and Italian tech trees.
